I’ve just started on these forums and you’ve probably read a thread asking this question before I’m just looking for a simple answer though.
Is there going to be a legendary edition for Halo:CE Anniversary edition?
If so what do you know/think will be included?
I want an edition like Halo 3: ODST, with a gamepad or something like that. A legendary Edition for a remake is really unlikely.

maybe things that would fit with the whole “halo anniversary” thing, because it is called anniversary for a reason. They should include the halo: art of building worlds art book, the master chief evolution figure pack, and a few extras to celebrate halo’s anniversary.
Yea i agree with u. If theres a limited ed out there dont make it pricey like maybe no more then $20 more. Have it come with a how we did this a y dvd, maybe a halo art book, and maybe code for some kind of avatar thing. not much more. And if possible the bata for halo 4
Maybe an extra map that wasnt that well liked, but still is good to have in reach… maybe turn it into a ff map since barely anyone would have it in mm? idk, im just throwing out some ideas…
If there is a special edition, I’d personally like it to come with either a book, or a statue type thing.
No in game unlockables, no special controllers. Just a commeemorative statue or anniversary book.
Also, preferably something not related to Bungie, and more in line with 343’s contributions. So maybe a “making of” book isn’t really a good idea.

In my opinion, pre-order bonuses wouldn’t be a bad thing. For example, giving me a free copy of the soundtrack or a platinum Master Chief action figure would be a cool little sentiment. However, one thing I will not budge on is pricing. This game is $40, and that’s an extremely tasteful price. To add things to the package and boost its price would be dishonoring that sentiment, so I believe pre-order bonuses are the way to go. Just little freebies that are given to people who manage to put money down before release. It doesn’t make the package cost more, and as far as the game goes, people who buy at retail will have an identical package to us; we just get freebies. That would be nice.

I’m hoping they do what Bungie did with O.D.S.T. and have a special controller, but make it like a mix between the original XBOX controller and the 360 controller. So basically, have the button layout of the original controller, but the design of the 360 one.

Maybe one of those old dukes from the original Xbox with a Halo:CE design or something.

I’d upgrade to a Limited Edition for a steelbook case and a few other extras. Like a pewter Elite or Spartan figurine.

It shouldn’t be anything like halo reach’s legendary edition, just a couple of cool little extras for the true die hard halo fans. Like an art book or an exclusive anniversary master chief figure or something. Just something nice that sums up the first decade of Halo but also shows the promise in the next decade.

Im telling you a Statue on the Pillar of Autumn would be a nice addition to my Halo collection.
It would of been nice but I think they are getting to close the the release date to announce anything like that this late.
After the disappointment that was the Reach legendary Edition, I would not be interested at al about another one.
I’ll just be getting the standard £30 copy of the game.
