Hey guys. Has anyone heard anything about a legendary edition? I can’t believe they wouldn’t come up with one especially now that Halo turns 20 years:pleading_face: please someone from 343i reply. Pretty please:heart_eyes:
According to Windows Central, there’s only really three options: Standard, Steelbook (physical) and Series X Bundle. I think the last time there was different editions was Reach, if I’m not mistaken? 343 hasn’t really been big on Legendary or extra editions of their games aside from Guardians preorder stuff which was like a skin and a Warzone weapon.
So no, with the current information we have, there is no Legendary edition of Halo Infinite. (i’d post the WC link but I don’t think Waypoint will let me)
Edit: Apparently I can post links now. So here it is: Halo Infinite preorder: Bonuses, editions, and where to buy | Windows Central
There’s not going to be a legendary edition, they would have announced that when pre orders for the game went live.
There’s little point in them announcing another pre order edition months later.
The 20th anniversary isn’t going to give you a legendary edition either, people would have been charged for the console bundle then, essentially making people pay for another edition if they wanted it.
You can buy the game as standard physical or digital, get the steel book copy or get the console bundle. Those are your options for purchase.
There are plenty of cool official merchandised statues for Halo Infinite that are available for purchase separately.
