I have had troubles recently with the legendary content that comes with the Legendary Edition of Halo Reach in the fact the the Legendary Edition Content code has already been redeemed before I got this edition of Halo Reach. After talking to Microsoft Support, they said that I should contact you so I can get this content in-game since you will be able to modify my account. If someone from 343 could get in contact with me here that would be amazing! I can email pictures with the proof of purchase also.
Hey OP, I’m not sure who you have been talking to but it’s not possible for 343 to just modify people’s accounts. Was this a brand new / sealed copy of the legendary edition that you bought or did you buy is used / second hand? If it was second hand (or even refurbished) then you’re probably out of luck. If it was a new and sealed copy then I would get in contact with the store your purchased the game from and ask for their assistance.

I bought a new version from eBay. Microsoft Support said I had to contact bungie but bungie says I have to contact you guys. Microsoft said you should be able to drop the items on my account with proof of purchase
Was this a SEALED legendary edition, meaning the inside items are wrapped in their original factory plastic? These editions are no longer made, and as a result are becoming increasingly rare as time goes by, so the odds of finding one untampered with or with unused codes is very small.
If you were sold a legendary edition with non-working codes, this is an issue you will need to take up with your eBay seller.

What content exactly are you referring to? I didn’t buy this edition of the game but if said items you’re referring to are just armor variants you will be very disappointed to know that they have no impact upon gameplay whatsoever. If this edition granted full access to then-future additions such as map packs then those have been free for a long time now, just go to the marketplace and you can download them at no cost.
