How do you make legendary easier? Because i want to complete the mcc on legendary so i can get the armor for halo 5 for doing so.
I think for Halo ce and 2 just put either bandana and the scarab skull on. These void par score and time achievements, but not for completing missions on any difficulty. As for Halo 3 and 4, well they are easier than the first 2. I would suggest looking up Nak3d Eli for tips on Youtube, that’s who I went to help me out. Sadly though due to a name disagreement with Microsoft he is not making videos anymore, now he’s a teacher.
Yeah, Halo 3 and 4 are not bad at all on Legendary. But Halo 2 is well. Brutal. Very Brutal. I honestly would much rather climb Mount Everest, with a stomach wound, and a bag of Donkey farts for Oxygen then replay Halo 2 on Legendary. That’s how bad it is

Do those skulls really help? I beat it on Legendary already. But was robbed because it said I did not beat 1 mission. For whatever odd reason. And if you see my above post… You would see how I feel about doing it again.
But I didn’t even think about using Skulls. Will that help me beat and get the achievement for the level?
Headshots are still headshots. Activate skills that help. Think splash damage, especially halo 3. Watch some Speedrun videos for skips if anything. Never forget the noob combo. Power weapons to Marines, they get unlimited ammo and are quite effective. Don’t get bogged down in a kill loop, just restart the mission. Learn to assasinate, practicing Laso helped me with that. Keep playing legendary, you’ll simply get used to it and it would get easier.

Just takes a little time and think things through. Be smart. Don’t move forward until you’re confident you can kill the remaining covenant. Halo 2 is not as bad as people make it out to be Imo.

Will you still get the HELIOSKRILL armor for halo 5 if you do this?
Me and my friend’s just went through the games on legendary. Halo 2 was the real challenge and I advise looking up speed runs.
Honestly it’s not hard as much as it is frustrating. It’s all about failing over and over until you memorize where the jackles are. After that it’s just about plasma pistol overcharged and headshots. Not too bad at all imo.
Edit: I’m specifically referring to Halo 2. The rest aren’t as bad at all once you understand the basics.

Plasma pistol… just remember to have a plasma pistol so you can drop the Elite shields with an overcharge. And, as others have said, just keep playing until you get used to it
Halo ce and halo 2 are the hardest in my opinion,even getting the plasma pistol,but the real problem is the flood
