Ok, so I just completed the halo 3 campaign on legendary in MCC and I got the acheivment for completing the last mission, but not for the whole game. It says I have every one finished in game, but when I go to look at the acheivment status it still says I need one more level. I don’t know what to do about this and I’m pretty bummed.

I’ve seen reports of Campaign skipping levels when you resume play through. It happened to me. I finished CE last level, and it said I had 10/10 completion.
Luckily enough, I was aware what mission that was specifically skipped. So after playing the last level, I went back to play the unplayed level.
You probably are actually missing a level. Once you go back and do it, you will unlock achievement, nameplate and anything else.
Make sure you’re connected to Xbox live too. Had this once with my Halo 4 play through. Though it happened before I did the last level. If you’re not connected to live I found it wouldn’t register that legendary play through for that particular level. Simply just went back and replayed the missing mission before carrying on in the game chronologically.
I completed Halo 4 legendary solo, and didn’t receive the achievement. 
It doesn’t even say ‘Done Unlocking…’ or anything. It only says 64% done… even though it shows that I solo’d every mission on the menu screen… D:
give it time, it will unlock.
I’ve been playing halo 2 through on legendary the main menu says I’ve completed 3 of the levels on legendary however the achievements say i have even done them. theres no done… unlocking thing nothing so wtf is going on it took me 3 hours to do those levels
I completed Halo 3 Crow’s Nest on Legendary and it didn’t give me the achievement for completing it and I just don’t understand why.
