So I just got the legend achievement last night and still haven’t received my helioskrill armor
It might take a day or two, as I don’t think MCC had it’s glitches fixed…ever.
Also, are you sure the achievement is unlocked in your achievements page? I had to complete an achievement for my GEN 1 Mark VI two or three times before it finally unlocked in 5.
Props to you on grinding away on that, but…I got my Helioskrill set a couple months ago just from gold packs >.>;

No it should be immediately, I finally got legend on Monday and then immediately threw in halo 5 and I had it.
OP you won’t get it from a pack. It will be one of the first armors in your unlock list… it just appears.
It should, yes. But I remember a lot people had the same complaint for a month or so after H5 launch. It’s an issue with MCC, which as far as I know, was never patched.
I was alluding to the fact that 343 has made the Helioskrill set available in gold packs for players who don’t have that achievement unlocked…wow, way back in Feb.
Like I said, major props for grinding out that achievement OP, but if it was just for the armor set, you did a lot of work for almost nothing =/
Just finished up last night and it was immediately there for me. It’s annoying that 343 still hasn’t fixed this issue yet, but it’ll come soon OP. Better yet, start up a custom game in MCC, quit out of it, and then boot up H5 and see if it’s there.

you can get it from a pack, it’s a variant though not the actual one from MCC

No you can get the actual one too. I was only talking about if you got legend and got it instead of opening a pack and getting it.
I think you can only get the real one from MCC, unless I’m mistaken. All I’ve heard is that the two variants are what you can get in packs.

You are correct. MCC gets you the original set and the 2 variants come from req packs. I am using the Helioskrill Warbound set.
Mine took a day to unlock
I never got the achievement, but I got the armor through REQ pack.
