Legend achievement reward in Infinite

Honestly im begging for a reward for getting the ‘legend’ achievement in Halo Infinite. We worked hard getting this achievement for our reward becoming something anyone could get through luck cough gold pack heloskrill cough*. I believe I speak for many of us out there who are wishing for a real reward for having to cry over those pesky halo 2 jackal snipers with aimbot. There were many times I quit trying to beat halo on legendary and needed a friend to help me through it all, and to whoever beat it by them selves I consider you no less then godly at this point. All im asking is showing some love to those who put on the effort to play such a great game franchise.

If it launches on Steam then this would not happen. Legend should be reserved to people who beat the campaign on legendary with all skulls on if it did exist.

I feel like Legend is a much more accessible thing to do than the other legacy rewards in Halo Infinite (Rank 152 in Halo 5).

If they’re bringing legacy rewards in for MCC milestones I’d love one for getting all 700 achievements. Just like Rank 152 this is very hard and is a small minority of the most dedicated players.
There is about 4,300 Rank 152 players from Halo 5 and maybe about 2,000 people (last time I checked TA) who have all 700 achievements in MCC.

I don’t want to downplay the Legend achievement or your success in doing that, if anything congratulations.
I just feel like it’s a reward a lot of people who have - therefore not really being a unique item. Something everyone has is no longer exclusive.

Rank 152 is impossible to go back and do especially after Halo Infinite launches. I would like to see the milestones though and other achievement based rewards. I am pretty sure this game will be on steam though and it might alienate them.

I agree 100%, the player base for Halo 5 & MCC is likely to plummet considering Halo Infinite is Free To Play. Hitting 152 is definitely a case of “now or never”.

As for Steam, I’m pretty sure Infinite is releasing there, I could be mistaken though. As someone who doesn’t use Steam I don’t know the answer to this - is there a way to link your account to Xbox Live/Xbox Network too. If not, could be a possible integration for the future which could be a work around for legacy rewards.

Just looked it up. Steam does support Xbox Achievements because you have to log into the Xbox Network. Answer solved. Full send those achievements. I only have like a 66 in Halo 5 because I was in college after the military. Never really hooked me when I went back however it takes years to go up like 100 levels right?

Regardless, I love the idea of the best armor/weapon “skins” are tied to difficult content that can still be completed. Halo 5 though is a unique case though and unless they change how you level up that will be impossible for new players to go back and get.

Ah awesome, glad we’ve resolved that!

For Halo 5 honestly the first 130 levels aren’t actually too bad. It’s just anything after that what takes a while. The final 2 ranks (150-152) is basically the equivalent of doing the first 150 ranks all over again. It’s a grind. To some degree it’s a shame that players can’t go back and get that 152 if they wanted it in the future but I guess Halo 5 has had it’s time in the spotlight.

Oof so like a Black Desert Online leveling system. They should honestly just remove that xp barrier somewhat and have a triple XP for the rest of summer IMO if they are going to have that turn into some kind of exclusive thing. People who grinded would probably get upset about it though, but it would get people back into the game before release.

Gears of War 2 had a bonus than if you completed it you got an unlock in Gears 3 I think, they had a bunch of super exp weekends but nearing launch they had 32x or 64x exp weekends. My friend and I played 18 hours straight to get the top rank. I’ve never done anything like that since but I would on Halo 5 for the armour haha.

Yeah I think that’s a point of contention really. I spent about 3 solid months of playing to get from level 148-152. Increasing XP rewards would annoy people who put in the time.
To be fair though, it’s easier to get to that rank now than it has been ever before. Permanent 2XP playlists, XP packs and such.

I’d say right now it’s still pretty feasible for people to get there if they wanted that reward in Infinite. Just takes a major time commitment.

If I wasn’t an adult I would go for it however 90+ levels in 5 months is a little bananas.
