Just got the Legend achievement, but the helioskrill armor won’t unlock. Why is that?
Check your waypoint stats. Sometimes it says differently on waypoint. Also try a hard reset.
It stays locked in your req menu even after it is available to you. To get it right away…
All missions have to show completed on legendary here on WP for the below to work.
If they do, try this: (If they don’t you will have to go back and re-complete the missing missions.)
Check the customization menu in H5. Not your req collection. It should be there. If it is not. Load MCC, H4, go into the menu and customize an emblem. Reload H5 and check your customization menu.
This armor is also available in req packs.
Someone posted something similar a couple days ago and their explanation was that ever since Helioskril was added to the REQ pool via packs that the “Legend” achievement wouldn’t necessarily lead to an unlock of the armor (glitch). I ran through your MCC service record and yeah you’ve got the achievement and have completed the campaign legendary solo/co-op so there’s no discrepancy on your part, just bad luck. Tbh idk how helpful anyone will be if you don’t have it already since others who complained in the past didnt get the award, which is a shame cause I know you gotta put a lot of hours into it. I solo grinded MCC cause helioskril is my favorite armor in the game, still wear a variant set today and had the armor since launch so def hope it works out for you bud!

When it was added into the req pool the ability to earn it through Halo MCC was no more. Just saying your late, way too late to earn this.

I tried your method, loaded mcc, made an emblem, reloaded halo 5, and still no helioskrill

I’ve read that it sometimes may take some time to unlock it, hopefully it unlocks eventually

Yeah. Removing the ability to earn it legit is just stupid. I got it from MCC but my girlfriend unlocked it trough reqs. I got it before they put it in there though. I’m not sure if it’s confirmed that you can’t earn it from MCC. You should check that out.
I believe you can still unlock it. I am stubborn.

Yeah that sucks. I unlocked the helmet just a day before I completed all campaigns on legendary.

I earnt it a week before it was added to the pool…
I just got the MCC and my friend has it too. It got me wondering, can you unlock Helioskrill on Co-Op?
And also, can you use skulls?

You can use skulls but they can’t be zero modifier skulls. So no bandana, feather, scarab, etc.

I think I got it back before the beta cause one of the first things I did when MCC came out was take a trip down memory lane on Legendary.
