So 343 has always said they cant update Halo 3 playlists because of its old tech that they might accidentally crash and not be able to fix. This has been their excuse on everything from playlist consolidation to file share support. However if I recall doesn’t Shiska, who was Halo 3’s playlist desinger, work for 343. Plus Max Hoberman, who was a multiplayer designer on Halo 1, 2, and 3, is the creator/ceo/president of Certain Affinity. 343 most certainly has the means to do playlist updates, they just don’t care to. /rant

Also True- Credited as a lead designer on a game = knows aspects of the game.
But as you said 343 knows more about 343 than I do. My OP was just to vent when it all clicked with me.
