Legacy armors confirmed for new cores

It looks very different, but the chest on the red spartan in this image (https://content.halocdn.com/media/Default/community/E32021PressKit/4k_infinite_mp_spartanlineup_watermarked-524ad6c8f5b84372a859ab0a32274926.png)
is collar/breacher from HALO: REACH, and the pink and orange spartans are both wearing what appears to be counterassault, also from HALO: REACH
The grey spartan on the right is also wearing an EOD helmet, though it’s nearly unrecognizable with it’s enlarged visor and reworked gas-tubes.

I understand this may seem obvious to some, but others had concerns about legacy armor returning for the new armor core and did not recognize the new, very different designs for these armors. Personally, I think some of the new versions are great, especially the reimagined collar/breacher, while others feel off, like the EOD helmet. What are your thoughts on these reworked armors?

To elaborate on my personal thoughts on these armors, I always thought that the counterassault chest was too form-breaking and didn’t make the magazines obvious enough (they just look like random chunks of armor) and I really appreciate this new design. I always really like collar/breacher (and in fact am using it right now on my MCC reach spartan) and I feel like both designs are great for their own reasons, and fit their armor cores very well.

I do have a problem with the EOD helmet though. Part of the original EOD helmet’s design that set it apart from the others was the distinctive lack of a connected visor, instead opting for eye-holes instead. It also has a very different form because of the jutting tubes located near the jaw. The new version lacks both of these features, and looks a lot more like other helmets such as Grenadier than it does the original EOD. HALO: REACH also connected the visors and even removed the gas tubes from a variant and the helmet’s design suffered for it.

That’s not EOD, it’s a slight redesign of Aviator from H4/5.

Just so you know I believe that’s an aviator helmet not an EOD.

in that case, I hope the EOD helmet looks very different from this. If it looks close to the HALO: REACH design, the helmets will be way too similar.

To me the EOD has always been more blocky/squared with narrow visors, while Aviator has had more round features and mid-sized visors. I will say that the new bulked up face guard does look similar. Overall I’d say Warrior looks more akin to EOD than Aviator, but Warrior has a very distinct face guard that looks like a predator’s mask.
