I love when FPS games provide the option for mirroring the HUD to accommodate left handed players. It’s just a cool and unintrusive way of including those players (note, I’m not somebody who uses that feature).
I also think that it’s important for games to have completely customizable buttons, rather than pre-defined button “layouts”. It just allows players to choose what is most comfortable for them.
I don’t know if I would put these things as a high priority above some of the other issues that need fixing right now, but long term I would love to see these QoL features implemented.
On a side note, I vaguely remember the devs talking about adding more options to customize the HUD layout and other personal visuals. I would not be surprised if a left-handed visual style was already in the works.

Or you know… since it’s a video game weapon models could just adjust based on your visual settings. It’s literally no different than having weapon offsets.

If you were left handed with the weapons available, especially the human ones, you’d have brass hitting you in the face, and you can’t simply mirror these guns like other games as the ammo readout would be mirrored too. If they can figure it out then sure. As for the controller, no first party company makes a “left handed” controller. You could pick southpaw as your controller settings. If you want something that special, best looking at third party creators.
