"Left fireteam"..again?!

You know for a game that has as much notoriety as halo, you’d think there would be a consensus that the first thing you’d wanna do is keep the fan base happy. Which is an ironic thing to say considering the amount of packs that get put in the requisition store, the maps constantly being released (which the recent ones with the exception of stasis have not been good at all and i dont include mercy since thats an h4 map). So what in the world is going on with the network?! Is it seriously so difficult to shift the focus of your adopted franchise to ensuring its reliability?! Since literally day 1 of the release there has been a constant string of network issues. DAY ONE!

Obviously developing new and supporting previously developed games is a feat in itself. But isnt that what you get paid all that money for? Come on 343. You’re really making me miss Bungie right now.

There have been many reports of the “left fireteam” message that kicks people out of games, even when they are solo queued. But this is not necessarily a problem on 343i’s end. Not everyone experiences this problem. In fact, it seems that aside from the people who post about it here, most players don’t experience it (I’ve never gotten the “left fireteam” bug). And considering that a hard reset at least temporarily fixes the issue for many players who have it, I would say that the issue is either on the player side or somewhere between the player and Halo 5’s servers.
Remember that just because you or even hundreds of players don’t have a stable connection all the time doesn’t mean 343i’s servers are bad. Every connection is different; you could have the same ISP, up/down speed, and router as your neighbor next door and there could still be a scenario where one of you can connect stably and the other can’t. It’s just the nature of the internet. Yes, every day there are players who experience problems, but unless every Halo 5 player in the world is experiencing the same problem, whatever issues they are having aren’t likely to be because of Halo 5’s servers.

Hi there badasswytguy & Chimera30.
My question is for Chimera30 if I may.
I signed in and noticed I had no REQ points so I
Went to store and it told me it was retreiving data.
I waited and waited some more with still no luck.
I decided play 3 quick games to see I can get my reqs returned as it worked before and nothing.
I never got any xp or req points for it too. So I decided to turn my xbox off and on, signed in and now halo 5 is telling me I am rank 1 with no armour unlocks visors helmets the lot. No reqs. But my xp bar stayed the same as it was when I was rank 91.
My question is will this resolve itself and can I play a game on rank one and hope it doesn’t remain rank 1. Thanks any help apreciated. :bowing_man:

What may happen frequently for you may never happen for someone else. Like I said before, every connection is different. Your issue resolved itself, so that suggests that there was a temporary communication problem between your console and Halo 5 servers. It can happen to anyone; still doesn’t mean that the servers are bad or broken.
