When can i leave an arena game without being penalized? How many of my teammates need to quit before i can without a potential ban? It feels like every second game im down a man or two and its just not fun and has kinda ruined a bit of my Halo 5 experience if im being honest.
Or don’t. I have played plenty of Arena matches where teammates left and I still won. You just need to carry your team. Heck, against unorganized teams in SWAT, it may actually be beneficial not to have a mouth-breather hold you down in KD
Sure if the other team is stupid and rushes you one at a time, but when a team is competent its not fun to play 4v2 or even 3v4 if you are against some good player. I get your point though, i have won some games while a man down i know it can happen, its just usually not a fun time unless you have a halo god on your side(which i am definitly not hah).

Makes the game less fun actually, because people still quit, and you want to leave because you’re losing and you’re down by two player or something and you’re not enjoying getting your butt whooped by the whole team at once, but you can’t because of the ban thing, so you gotta stay and ruin your K/D (if you care about that sort of thing) or get destroyed over and over and over and over…fun. “Fun.”
Ya its not fun. I care a little bit about my K/D and it pisses me off when I know the only reason im getting wrecked is because im down 2 players and can quit.

it happened to me that my whole team left… and the guys on the other team left pretty clear they were a clan… with similar gamertags… no doubt… they simply crush me… but I took out some of them anyway
I think no matter what you are never safe from a ban. I highly recommend no leaving games, even if that means getting rekt in 1v4.
I just started playing on my friends account and I can honestly say I’ve had the urge to leave every game I’ve been in. But I don’t that’s not right…
Yeah it sucks. Seems like it happens every other match where there is at least one quiter. It ruins the fun for me.

Imo, there shopuld be a percentage multiplier for your Credits if you play a man down, giving more incesntive to stay in and play it through! It wont be “more fun” but the benifits are at least a little better
I’m still confused on when you’re penalized and when you aren’t. I just started playing halo again and originally played it on Xbox 360 where after a match you could leave and not be penalized. Is this true for halo 5? I’m finishing games but it seems like they just continue one after another on there own without me selecting which mode I want…I would finish a game and leave to the main menu (did it a few times) and I was banned? I assumed you were only penalized if you left a current game. anyway, if the games just continue one after another how do I exit if I want to stop playing?

I remember three players left my team at once when playing on Overgrowth. Needless to say, I got handled with 9 kills and 21 deaths at the end of the match. My slayer KD has yet to recover from that and I rarely play arena for this reason. I believe if a player quits from a match, the game should immediately become unranked.
