Or you could just not quit 10+ games? Is that not far more reasonable? To just not quit excessively?
It happens to be a thing people do thanks to the challenge system 343 put into place.
Then you ask to fix the challenge system and wait for that to happen, not ask to remove punishments and accommodate quitters in an already lenient system.
They should remove it despite the challenge system. It’s casual mode. Let people hop in and out of a match as they so please.
Wow. This guy is outta pocket for real. I see like 2 posts flagged.
I disagree, despite it being casual, you’re still risking ruining the gameplay experience for others for reasons stated above.
And join in progress fixes that. So…?
And not quitting fixes that sooo…?
Okay hand cuff me to my video game. Lol.
Regardless, that’s still gives the other team a huge advantage spawn wise. Like
Say you kill all three. A fourth person would still be alive to gain some ground.
9 quits isn’t a handcuff, I’m sorry you feel that way.
edit: and tha ban is like, 10 minutes
Huge advantage? Isn’t the game population supposed to be large enough that it can find replacement players fairly quickly? Shouldn’t the downtime be maybe 1 minute tops?
Oh thanks for being sorry for my feelings.
1 minute is enough for an enemy team to really start stomping.
It’s hard to feel empathy in a situation that does very little to actually punish or discourage quitting, and yet you still want it to be more lenient.
The ban time increases after it starts banning you. 10 mins, 20, 30, so on. So yes, you do become hand cuffed to your matches after you start getting banned. For casual game modes. Which should be casual, so who cares. No rank on the line. Join in progress should have no limits to help mitigate issues.
Nothing is on the line?
My “win x (objective) matches” says otherwise if you leave during said match and now the bot goes and ruins it.
If you’re not great at Halo, then it really doesn’t matter too much. Unfortunately it seems the majority of teammates I end up with are bot level anyways…
Join in progress with no limits should be implemented. People will quit matches with or without banning.
So you can excessively quit more games? When they should just fix challenges so you don’t quit at all? You aren’t hand cuffed, 9 free quits.
You saying it’s casual doesn’t convince me, because here we are again at square 1. Let’s just re-read what we already wrote.
Join in progress can be added, I won’t disagree, but excess quitters should still be punished, you shouldn’t be quitting 9+ games within the hour.
I’m just gonna have to say agree to disagree here as I doubt we’ll be able to convince either one of us.
Is the challenge system fair? No
Do you deserve your timeout for leaving 10 games in a row? Yes
