I am not offended that you all thing that leaving a match a match early is a bannable offense as well as using profanity. I actually feel really bad for you and think you all need to grow up.
I agree that there should be more playlists, but they can’t realistically make one for each mode. Nobody would play Strongholds. It has to be rotational, at least for objectives.
Now the challenges are a whole other story.

This is what we call “Consequences for ones actions”, and your being punished for ruining the matches for other people by leaving. This is what we call Griefing others.

I having nothing wrong with this man leaving to get his challenges done. One way or the other he will encounter others leaving on them when their on "Win ____ " challenges. GGs all around.

It’s pretty clear when you leave a match, no need for a notification that you did. It’s even clearer when you can’t connect to matchmaking because of a ban because you left those matches.
Pretty sure this has been a standard approach to quitting matches in Halo titles to various degrees since Reach. Shouldn’t be new news.
And despite all this, your download is your agreement that you’ll abide by the ToS, CoC, licensing agreement and Xbox Community Standards. Somewhere in that list of legal jargon is 343’s ability to ban players who chronically leave and disrupt matches, which the algorithms did.
Or rather your impatience.

Yes you are. However, if I without effort have been able to complete all my weekly challenges since launch and without leaving a single game, then so can you.

I don’t recommend it for ranked, but social matches I couldn’t care less.
I come from the era of CSS and UT2k4 server browsers and it was just a fact of life to have unbalanced teams all day long. I don’t care.

Having players leave games to search for specific modes is a 343 problem and not a you problem.
I do exactly the same myself and often do get banned but they’re only short so I don’t mind. I always leave immediately when I play on Rocket Site too but that’s a different discussion.

It would be ‘griefing’ if my intention was for the other players to have a difficult time. That was not my intention. It is also known that this matchmaking, unlike in other Halos, players replace the 343 bots and the 343 bots are place holders and sometimes actually do some damage.
