I left about 10 quick match games in a row because not one of them were stronghold games. I am trying to complete challenges. 10 games in a row then getting banned isn’t going to let anyone one get the challenges complete. I’m now temporarily banned for leaving matches which I didn’t get a notification for. I am being punished because your matchmaking system is broken. Does that seem far to anyone? The answer should be; NO.
Don’t leave that simple yea challenge suck but you are hurting your team so yea take the ban. Be a man and stop going me me me
Leaving 10 games in a row, that’s really low. I could forgive maybe one or two. 10 in a row, you deserve a 24 hour ban in my opinion.
Regarding you trying to complete your challenges, remember, we are all in the same boat, there is an element of difficulty to be had in completing the challenge, hence the name CHALLENGE.
Looking at the new quests they do seem a lot fairer so I think 343 has the balance right.
Good luck with your ban, I guess you know the limit now, quit 9 games and ply the 10th.
Of course it’s broken, they should have all of the modes separated. It’s like they were halfway into the MCC’s challenge system and went “hey, what if we lumped the playlists together and used challenges instead of progression?”
But quitting ten times? Dawg, what the hell. I rage quit sometimes, I confess, but never in multiples of ten. Geez…

Summary
Making it impossible for anyone to complete by removing the necessary game type to complete it is abusive and harassment if done manually. If it’s just a “luck of the draw” then a algorithm or what ever matchmaking system is used, and in my opinion, should be accommodating to every players challenges and maybe prioritizing every players challenges to that each can complete their’s. 10 games in a row and not one of them are a stronghold game type, that’s suspicious.
I am sure I am not the only person this is happening to.
@goofiestshark13 you go to hell. This isn’t a me me me thing it effects anyone trying to complete challenges.
@BlitzGear02 my point exactly. I shouldn’t have to quit 10 games in a row or even have to play 10 games in a row that I don’t want to play in order to play the game type I’m looking for.
I never rage quit. I’ll leave a game if I think I’m being hacked, cheated or etc, which I was. 10 games in a row and not a single one was what I was looking for. There are only 17 games in the quick play list. I was put into bazaar- Arena CFT 3 times in those 10 games. I have no problem playing Capture the flag. I like capture the flag, it’s one of my favorite objective game types. However when my objective/challenge isn’t in a CTF then why would I want to play a CTF game if I’m trying to o complete objective/challenge. It doesn’t make sense for anyone trying to complete challenges. It discourages completing challenges and etc. and it’s a waste of time for teammates involved. The players who got left and the players who are leaving. The only players who benefit are those on the other side who are getting easy kills against bots. That also makes it easier for other players to complete some challenges that, honestly, probably couldn’t if they weren’t up against a bot. It doesn’t benefit me ormy teammates (who I don’t know and are usually matchmaked in to a game with hme).
Not only that but patience is key too. I find it helps to play the game modes that are not related to challenges helps you practice for the challenges when you get the right mode.
I don’t agree with the “be a man” sentiment but I also don’t think you should tell him to go to certain fiery places.
However, I don’t think your behavior is very sporting in-game. By entering the quick play or BTB matches or whatever, you’re entering into a social contract with the game that you’ll play whatever match is determined by the game generator. If you don’t like that, simply don’t play the game.
So hostile towards me here you go again about me me me playlists nothing we can do either play the game mode or take the ban and me a man about it but like I said befor challenge suck but I don’t leave my team that simple. The way I see it if you play a rank game and leave your team you should go down two full ranks because you just costed your team a drop in rank.
I agree, I think they should have a check box that we select, and then when those game modes come up activate the challenges for those modes. it will make it easier.
I will never gonna play CTF, even though they have challenges, I can ignore them and still do the others and still progress.
To me, this is how it should be done.

It’s not a contract. I’m not a socialist. I’m aloud to leave what ever game or match I want to for any reason. I don’t currently get paid to play halo nor am I playing competitively. I don’t get paid by, nor have I ever been paid by Microsoft.
In the circumstances above I was not playing in a ranked match. If I don’t like the game type and it isn’t what I’m looking for, I’m going to leave the match. I don’t want to waste my time.
@thetimewarptrio I could have told him or you to f**k him self? Would that be more sporty or less sporty then “go to hell” in your opinion?
Why should I be punished if I leave a game where my teammate are doing horribly? Why should my rank be effected by other players who are causing a loss. It’s a skill rank not a military rank. The rank rating drops either way. 2 whole ranks is abusive and absurd.
Battlefield 4 is like that. There was almost never a capture the flag game going on. What a shame.
I think picking and choosing a preferences would benefit those wanting to completing challenges and for people who don’t like or want to play certain game types.
I think you should stick to Free For All. You don’t strike me as a team player.
No player is playing for money or signed a contract. When we hit play, we are joining a random team with the understanding that all of our team are trying to dismantle the other team.
Each time you quit, you are sticking your fingers up at 3 random innocent gamers and showing your fellow man/women zero respect. Reading your messages though, I don’t think this will bother you much.
If your sole purpose to play is to do the challenges, you are looking at the game the wrong way.
Either way, you’re flaming other users and bypassing the word filter, both which are against forum rules. If you haven’t read them, I suggest you do.
And clearly you don’t know what a social contract is, so I suggest you brush up on your John Locke.
I don’t really need to say more on the topic, but if you choose to play a game, then you also choose to play the game by its rules. Enjoy!
Sure you’re allowed to do whatever you want, but there are consequences to your actions. You screw over your teammates and 343 has the right to ban you for it. That is the social agreement you make when you play the game. Pretty simple.
I played 4 ranked matches today and lost all due to bad teammates and the oppo-team always having a way more skilled person in it, but i haven’t deranked at all.
If you do this you’re a moron. Just finish the match. I’ve completed all my Weekly Challenges without leaving to find ‘‘the right mode’’.
You’re just a selfish -Yoink!-.
I don’t play free for all very often.
Respect is earned. It’s not just given out freely.
I’m not a hacker or a socialist.
Not something I agreed to.
