How do you mess up just a remake of the game? All you had to do pretty much was improve graphics. Leave it to 343 to mess up mcc, the game was simply a remake of a masterpiece yet you couldn’t do that. Patch after patch, month after month, still broken… Halo fan from day 1. Please give this game to a different developement team who won’t just hop on the bandwagon and rip ideas from every other ordinary fps basic shooting game.Halo 5 is a no buy for me. All those enjoy the new halo have fun. Halo is doomed. Rant over.

A remake, well the campaigns work fine for most people, the only problem is the multiplayer and that’s with a new engine plus 4 others. This game was something never tried before. Please give me an example of a game that has a unified ui that also supports 4 games, 6 engines for campaign, five engines for multiplayer, and actually has customization on top of that. Name plates, emblems, clan/service tag, and a choosable armour and colour variant for five games.

It’s infact one remake. All the other games were just cramed in, nothing changed with those games. 5 different engines that any good game development team that has lots of experience with can handle. 343 isn’t good I’m sorry. Game is months into its release of a games that had already been made for them and the anniversary is still a complete mess even with how many patches they made.

They should’ve known what they were getting themselves into, and now I’m the one who pays for the disaster. They shouldve just made halo 2 anniversary and that’s it. We already had a combat evolved remake. And most people could care less about halo 4. Who gives a crap about nameplates and a service tag. Really, like cmon. Now it appears you are just trolling - all of the games were upscaled, tuned to 60fps, and 2 was remastered with 2 simultaneous engines. As for multiplayer, none of the matchmaking systems were built the same way in the past to integrate with future games, thus requiring a massive overhaul to how the multiplayer portion of every game in the collection, and only one of those games had it’s mp component built by 343.
If you at least tried to understand software development, you might realize that they didn’t simply port code over and copy/paste assets. That goes before understanding that the architecture the fames were built for is not the same as the one that the Xbox One utilizes, thus forcing emulation at some level for the old games to run (or requiring reconstruction at a much deeper level).
Yes, the MCC was broken for a long time. However, the undertaking of the project was also much larger than people will give the teams credit for (only a portion of 343 was working on it). At the very least, those most outspoken against the game had plenty of time to get a refund or wait to purchase given the state of the game. Continuing the ranting on how the game runs without anything constructive is useless - there are other places to voice actual concerns.
Regardless, this topic should be in the MCC forum at least.
