Hi 343i, BS Angel or anyone who reads all thus stuff.
I have the Halo 4 Guide Book (hard cover). I viewed/read all the interviews, articles and videos prior to game launch. I have played 1850 plus Halo 4 MM games. End result is, except for the BS glitch, every weapon, AA, tac package and support upgrade does what it was meant to do as intended by you, 343i, and as described in the guide book etc.
Active Camo does not kill anyone. It is not a weapon. It is a tactical AA that allows one to assist their team to win. It is not OP. Unless you stay still you are seen while moving upright. It is only good in limited close quarters combat. Even then, once you move to engage, you are seen.
If you are shooting while in AC on a bigger map, an enemy with a little situational awareness will know where the bullet came from and will see you as when someone in AC shots they become visible and are then able to counter. All you man canon users who get killed on Ragnarock by a couple of AC users, that is just poor combat strategy on your part,acting like lemmings off to the cliffs edge to die. Be smart and use the environment provided and most times you will be able to kill AC users. Learn there holding points and strategically take them out and hold down there preferred stomping ground rendering their AC useless for the most part.
343i, fact is, ProVision is more OP than (or at least as good as AC). PV lets you see exactly where and what someone is doing.AC users only see an indicator on the radar and have to anticipate what the enemy might or might not do. And, if teamwork is employed by the nemy, at least budding up (ie two players together), the lone AC user should almost always be taken down, I say almost always, but not always.
343i, Ac is fine. It does what it was intended to do. I, for one,love what has been done with AA, Tac Packages, Support Upgrades and look forward to the additions which might be made for Halo 5…note I said additions, nothing needs to be removed, grow the list! Keep the game fresh, keep moving forward, don’t look back, don’t downsize,like you did for the campaign!
Finally,I am not a fan of competitive ranks. However, give all those who want their competitive ranking system something like Halo 3 rankings, minus the cheating, if possible. On the same level of fairness, let me keep my AC.
