Leave 343 Industries ALONE

Halo Fans, 343i and Microsoft are the reason why you are still relevant. Cut them some slack. There would be no Halo Infinite without them. Master Chief would still be MIA. 343i has brought this community back to life. Even better, they are using our input to update the game.
Make no mistake, the Multiplayer is flawed. But at least be nice about it. They’ve worked so hard to please you all while trying to make money to pay their employees. They’ve dumped Millions of dollars into Halo Infinite to be the great game we wanted.
Regardless of your opinions, the decision is ultimately up to them. Boycotting them won’t work as they are funded by Microsoft (one of the most successful and rich communities in the work).
Do you want to wait another YEAR to get the game you wanted?!
It’s very likely at this point. They could pull back the Multiplayer and then you’d only have campaign (Which was Halo Infinites central focus).
Let them update it later. Give them input but do it RESPECTFULLY.

That’s my piece. Some may agree. Replying by listing problems the game has is irrelevant. That wasn’t the purpose of this post. Only to remind you all that 343 Industries is the reason Master Chief is still a thing. Bungie is no longer the same so there’s no going back.

Actually, there wouldn’t be a Halo without us. Do you realize how many games never end up being successful?

Where do you think the money comes to support them? Publishers giving it to them for free :joy:

We actually make a game survive or die…

If only those giphy things worked so we could put up the Leave Britney alone artifact of a meme.

Hey, not all of them are critical of 343!
I am a fan of 343, even when many complained about Halo 5, it seemed to me a great job in every way, even more so when it was a new team with all that it entails. I played Halo 5 (I’ve played every Halo) and really enjoyed it. I also really like the work that I have seen so far in Infinite and I think they have grown a lot and that they are a great team. The only thing I have criticized about this game is the monetization system that seems very expensive and the paid EXP bonuses. But that is a sales strategy that does not question the great work of each of the programmers, designers, artist, etc. of 343.
Good job 343!

No it’s the other way around, they can pump out as many halo games as they want but without us the community they’re nothing, people get mad and upset even to a fault because they care and don’t want to feel like they’re buying into a unfair deal. Your post is a very uninformed take bud.

leave multi billion dollar corporation ALONE!

they will be fine. aggressive player feedback is necessary, and we will all be better off for it.

it’s a wake-up call for the marketing execs and hopefully the people running 343i.

Imagine feeling this strongly about people talking bad about a corpo lol

They’re already making changes based on feedback which wouldn’t have happened if we left them alone.

A good chunk of Halo fans will whine, moan, send death threats to devs and then wave it all away under the guise of “constructive criticism” or that the “million dollar company” will be fine. Sure, the company will. What about the devs who are pouring blood, sweat and tears into everything only to be ridiculed and mocked at every turn?

Before the pitchforks come out, obviously there are a ton of issues regarding Infinite (the horrendous PC performance, for one) and everyone is entitled to their own criticisms of the game, company and practices. But can we all please be civil and stop lacing every genuine complaint with an insult or ad hominin towards the devs? Jesus, go on any of the devs’ Twitter posts calling for CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and its nothing but insults mixed with criticism.

The main focus is on the devs who actually make these decisions. While I don’t condone the death threats and the like, people have a right to be mad about how 343 continues to handle the franchise.

Whats the point of ‘keeping mast chief relevant’ if its just as a symbol of corporate greed and mismanagement? 343 hides behind him as a shield, using Bungie’s achievements to prop up their own flawed designs.

Halo 3 was a perfectly good send off for the character.

You’re saying a good chunk of Halo fan will send death threats is way out of line and than you sit there calling your self the civil one no.

Literally not the case.
We the player the customer are the reason their product are being used and sold.
Without us they cannot make a profit and 343i would disband or Microsoft would find a way to use them differently.

343i as lied on multiple ocasion just watch the multiplayer overview video for fun.
We have right same as them.
When they f up we raise our voices. You remember one of them calling us Entitle because we wanted the microtransactions to go ? well it didn’t go and got far worst.

Do you honestly believe that the whole reason 343i was created “us” would not defend our beloved franchise ?
You are oh so wrong my friend.

There would be another Halo no matter what.

If 343/Microsoft didn’t want to work with it anymore they would just sell off the IP for a cool millions/billions. Someone would buy it… probably Activision and give it back to Bungie. Look how many times Sega/Rare games have been passed around different companies in the industry.

Remember, Halo Wars was made by NOT 343. I think that was Ensemble Studios. So there’s already precedent for farming Halo out to other studios.

Oh they spent a lot of money on making a flawed game that they had 6 years to make?

Oh so they have an infinite amount of money? Lol so I guess the employees will be fine then. Your original point just got contradicted.

Halo Wars 1 was made when Bungie had ownership of the franchise. With Halo Wars 2, 343 worked closely with Creative Assembly. This is unlike how Bungie disliked Ensemble Studios instead of trying to be cooperative. Besides Microsoft asked these other studios to make a Halo game because they were a different genre (RTS) to every other Halo game (FPS).

It’s a shame what happened to Ensemble Studios in the end as they did care about the game and franchise.

Nope your wrong, 343i have gone back on all their early promises(the video evidence is out there).

Dont get me wrong the gameplay is fun and the maps are OK, but the weapons are weak and the reward system or lack there if is a joke. They promised no pay to win so to get around that loss of revenue they are putting all new and decent cosmetics behind a paywall.

The only gear you can win is old worn out reach gear we have had since you guessed it REACH a 360 game.

And to get this outdated and lame old gear you get pigeon holed into doing challenges. Horrible pointless challenge that make you use weapons you don’t like and pull off annoyinly scuffed objectives.

And the rest of the challenges are game mode based WHICH YOU CAN’T EVEN SEARCH FOR!!!

I think Microsoft has the final say when it comes to anything halo :innocent: I could be wrong but didn’t they create 343i and earlier bought or signed with bungie and had all the say so as well?

Leave britney alone ? Lmao its a mutual transaction the player base dictates the game we dont want to see this franchise get put down by greedy corporation decisions

hes not saying leave them alone but more as give criticisms in a respectful way rather than full on ballistic aggression

no the employees will not be fine if it bombs no matter how rich a company is if someone releases a product and it doesnt sell well they may fire the people involved or shut down the studio just look at EA they shut down studios quite a bit and they have lots of money
