What is your most disliked level in the Halo 3 campaign? Why?
Hmmm. Difficulty wise, probably ‘The Ark’ or ‘Cortana’; length and the challenges for the former, claustrophobic places and lots of enemies for the latter.
General dislike wise; I genuinely love all of the Halo 3 missions, but I think my least favorite would have to be ‘The Storm.’
Crows Nest or whatever it’s called. Terrible… I just couldn’t find anything worth liking with the level.
Cortana & Floodgate
The Flood were just not fun to fight in Halo 3, at all.
At the present time I am struggling with Cortana.
I have never been a massive fan of any of the Flood missions in any of the games but Cortana is probably the worst. The difficult to navigate location & being swarmed , particularly early on makes it the least likeable level for me.
I think the key to the level is to have a route clear in your head before time & just plough on a line of least resistance through to the end.
Not so easy to put into practice though.
Floodgate just thought it was a bit boring.
Cortana. Bad level design, annoying flood range forms. It just wasn’t fun to play.
Cortana, due to the flood everywhere it wasn’t enjoyable in the slightest.
Personally, I like all the levels because I know that Halo 3 was the perfect game 
but it seems like cortana is hated on a lot, probably because it is all flood. But, if i HAD to pick one, it would probably be the ark, only because of it’s length, but i still think that it was a great level and an amazing campaign

I’m surprised so many people are saying “Cortana”. It’s an amazing level; both in regards to story and gameplay it offers a lot more than some of the other levels.
Honestly, the only good ones were Crow’s Nest, The Covenant, and Halo. I didn’t love Halo 3’s campaign.

Totally agree I loved cortana.

The amount of flood to be fought within it can be very mind numbing, I remember the first time I played it on normal mode I kept getting killed… a lot. Flood are never fun to fight, and the level “floodgate” already had us go into the ship to get cortana, so this level didn’t really offer anything new for me.
My least favorite mission is probably The Ark just because there really isn’t much of a point to it all it does from what I can understand is it just tells the chief stuff he already knows if I’m wrong on what this mission tells us please respond to this because I really couldn’t understand the story.

I don’t like the ranged flood forms and I don’t like Floodgate but I like Cortana because of the storyline and regular flood forms are easier to kill when soloing legendary.

Pointless, maybe, but after the flood ship landed, well… something had to happen lol.
And it was the first mission in H3 where you get to fight the flood, it was fun IMO.
