Hey Waypoint, was interested in forging. Used to forge cool stuff on Halo: Reach, 4 than 5 but I’m having difficulty just playing the game. I’m not a mouse and keyboard guy and it keeps launching as if that is my only input on PC.
When I try with controller I don’t know whats going on, is it a me problem? I see everyone forging some great maps, I realize this takes more effort than ever and respect that. How are people overcoming these challenges?

Never used forge in Halo 4 or 5, but compared to 3 and Reach the learning curve is much higher. Also, can’t speak to controller use as I am on PC using M&K.
However, I would say don’t let the learning curve scare you! I would push through, and you’ll find navigating and manipulating objects becomes second nature with time. Plus, it puts you a lot closer to working with other level editors like the Unreal or Unity Game Engine level creators. Expand your knowledge, you can do it!
Edit: apparently, we’re not allowed to share YouTube links?
Search “Unreal Engine: Moving, Rotating, and Scaling” on YouTube.
and see the video for an example on similarities between Forge and Unreal Editor. A good skill to learn!
