The difference between last week and this week was huge. Handling of weapons was better, shooting and damage seemed more balanced. I guess my only two minor complaints now would be vehicle handling (the slip and slide around way too much) and also the AI’s look ridiculous. Let us customize them! That’s all.
lol oh you must have a different version than me then

Doubtfully, I just think some people are going to be childish in their attitudes no matter what, because the game doesn’t meet THEIR expectations, and is therefor a bad game. Funny thing is, isn’t Halo CE, 2, 3, ODST, 4, or 5. It’s Halo Infinite.
Anyway, I just noticed they fixed a lot of the weapon issues. I actually had aim assist on my controller this time, opposed to last week when controllers had zero aim assist. It was almost to how it is in Halo 5.
Sorry you don’t think so. I do.
I still stand by my annoyance of the vehicle drift and silly AI.
Do ya’ll have a link to anything that states there were any updates? From everything I’ve read… we were told that this was the exact same build from last week, only with BTB being introduced as the only difference.

I agree mostly! The weapons feel great and what’s cool is (I was told this by a friend) but apparently we will be getting AI customization later on which is very pog.
My only disagree is your statement about the vehicles. Personally I LOVE how they handle in this game. So much more snappy than they were in the previous games (Well, up to 4 since I never played Halo 5). I really like the vehicle play though so I’m quite curious how you mean by “they slip and slide too much”. Do you mind elaborating?

I also heavily agree with this too actually. I feel its a lot of comparing to past Halos for nostalgia or whatever the case may be. Infinite feels new and fresh but still right at home as a Halo game and I absolutely adore this.
The only thing that changed was a PC update that claimed to improve performance but didn’t. Stuttering issues got a little better.
Edit: Stuttering was still awful in training on Bazaar. I didn’t notice it so much on BTB Fragmentation.

I’ve been reading a lot of issues with the PC gamers. I’m on the Xbox Series X, but use to only play PC. I hope they get it fixed for you all.

Sure, so about the vehicles. I think it only goes for the Warthog and the ATV. I was using them earlier in BTB and I just couldn’t control them that well, and ended up rolling a good bit. The Ghost was great, I know they had some complaints with it earlier on but now I think it’s awesome.
Maybe I just really stuck at the Warthog and ATV haha. I’ll give it another go tonight at the next flight time.
And yep, I agree. Infinite feels new and fresh and at home here.
we’re playing the same version as last weekend. PC got a patch to help with performance, console had no update, so nothing’s changed.

It’s really unfortunate. I built a PC specifically to play Infinite with insane performance… and right now my $500 Xbox is putting it to shame.

I can’t aim. Playing last night with bots, it was decent. Did nothing to my settings since last flight. Play BTB today, well, lol, I couldn’t make ANY micro adjustments. I do much as apply a light flick to my right thumb stick and my reticle goes flying across the screen. I did all the adjustments (LOL @ having to spend 20 minutes in the settings just to adjust your aim in Halo btw) deadzones, horizontal and vertical sensitivity, PRIOR to today. I toyed with it again today for another 20 minutes. Nothing changed. I turned off the game. I’m not going to waste my time with this crap.
Idk if you’re referring specifically to me being childish, but I fundamentally think Infinite has it. I don’t hate the game, but I’m going to play something else if I can’t make micro adjustments while aiming and I’m not going to spend over 20 min again adjusting my settings. Nope.

Not you specifically. But a lot of what I’m seeing on all these message boards. Sorry if it came off that way.
I get it, what you’re saying. Last week my reticle hardly moved when I thumbed the pads tick. I made adjustions last week that didn’t make it any better. Hopped on today and it’s how I wanted it, and have always played.
Hope it gets better for you man.

I don’t know why the devs said updates were made, then. Oh well. Works better this weekend than last, for me at least.

Thanks man, so do I. Funny enough, I had the same issue with Halo 5 when I first started playing, which was in 2021 lol because I hadn’t an Xbox for sooo long. Got used to it though. I too see so many people complain of the “sweatiness” when they’re probably not the greatest to begin with. I can admit when I suck, but I played games today where I went positive K/D, had some pretty rad kills with the skewer, and I still felt way off. I switch over to Halo MCC, no issues and I’m consistently on top of the leaderboards and aiming just fine. Maybe I’ll try again later tonight.
