This is a random idea I had, what if you can replace some leaders looks and voices with new ones for example
A Sgt. Stacker skin to replace Johnson
A FltAdm. Hood; Capt. Keyes; Laskey skin replace cutter
A Master chief; Kurt; Noble 1 skin replace Jerome
A Thel Vadum skin replace Ripa Moramee
A Tartarus skin replace decimus or atriox
these are just some I thought up in my spare time
Post what you think of this idea and should these skins, if 343 does do something like this in the future, be unlocked through achievements, microtransactions, or season event.
Skin as in the face that pops up when your leader speaks? I don’t see the use to this. Are you also meaning new voice over too?
Anyway I’ll pass. I’d prefer new maps and well balanced leaders for my new content, no need for them to devote resources to cosmetically rehash whats already there.
I… I’m not sure about this idea, BUT it could be interesting!
Its, however, not as pronounced as the request that people wanted for Halo 5, in it that they didn’t want to hear Sarah Palmer shout everything for them, they wanted someone different and they delivered! Nathan Fillion as buck, a Grunt, and Exuberant Waifu! All being fantastic and worth additions to Halo 5 even just for announcers.
For Halo Wars 2 though, there’s no complaint really, replacing some characters with others might be weird though. Master Chief with Jerome seems kind’ve shady to me, and would be a weird move on 343’s part if they actually did it. Same with Thel Vedam as Ripa, I’m just not sure it would fit in with the Heroes as Arbiter was built off the Arbiter from Halo Wars 1. And making Master Chief a hero was never really a fun idea from my standpoint.
Than again I told everyone on the forums a month ago that I would be angry if 343 rehashed Halo Wars 1 heroes into Halo Wars 2 just for -Yoink- and giggles but they’re impressing me!
Than again however, we’re just talking about SKINS, and voices.
Its an idea and I praise you for that! I just don’t personally want the heroes I’ve grown to love, to change. (I know that they’d give you the OPTION to switch to the skin, but still!)

Could be cool but honestly to me it seems sort of pointless.
