Since I got enough Thanks for when I originally posted it I guess I’ll start a thread.

It was announced recently the some items can only be obtained by purchasing the War Games Pass separately from the game.

Those who purchase the LE of Halo 4 did not pay much mind to this as the War Games Pass is bundled with the LE.

However it was confirmed today by multiple sources that specific helmets and emblems that people will receive by buying this pack separately WILL NOT be given by those who purchase the LE.

This is a really bad move by 343 and is a really low blow to the fans who are shelling out the extra cash for the LE expecting everything.

This is an issues easily fixed by manufacturing codes for these items within the War Games Pass Microsoft code, or by adding new codes within each LE.

I’m almost expecting it too, but this is going to be an issue with alot of players, and it deserves it’s own thread I think.

I shelled out an extra $35 for absolutely nothing…

When I go into MM nobody is going to say “Hey look he has [insert exclusive armor here] he spent a lot of money to get that, he is a real devout fan of Halo”

They are probably going to say “HAHA he just got a skin for an extra $35?? LOL what an idiot!!!”

I personally think BS angel is just confused about the question on twitter, i mean Microsoft and/or 343 cant be so stupid, they would realize that people would hate them for that. im not going to cancel my pre order because of this just because i dont get the 2 ugly Helmets and an awesome emblem.

This. I can’t believe that this is really how they’re going to treat LE buyers.

It’s not the fact that players won’t have a certain skin or armor piece, it’s the fact that 343 isn’t giving fans who pay extra for the LE everything that the people are getting who are also paying for the Pass.

Really makes no sense but then again I also think that the console should come with everything the LE does.

It forces people who want everything to buy multiple things even though they’re already paying a -Yoink- load. And end up with doubles.

I don’t really care, I just saw the LE as saving me money on the map packs. But it sucks for people who care about this.

I’m sorry to say this, but every thread complaining about the Limited Edition is really, really, really stupid.

Why do you care so much about a helmet? You get so much with the LE, I don’t want to list it. Why is everyone complaining they don’t get one stupid little helmet? If they wanted it THAT much, then they could spend some extra $$$. When I see the LE, I see something that could easily be at LEAST fifty bucks more, so stop whining, everyone, please?
