A lot of people that purchased the limited edition halo 4 probably are wondering why
they cant pick a specialization yet, access to starting a specialization isn’t until SR-50 then you rank for the armor and ability. once you do all of them you’ll be SR-130. all the specializations will be released to the public but if you buy the LE then if you reach SR-50 before the public release you would get a head start.
Aren’t all 8 specializations going to be unlocked for all of the early adopters in like a week, when the bulk of the players start to hit 50 anyway?
I have hit 50 already and want to know what happens when I finish wetwork and operator and the other specializations are not released? Am I just stuck at level 80?
yea. im sure the public release wont be TOO far from the average number of people reaching SR-50 though

It’d be level 70, not 80. As far as being stuck, people are claiming that SR-rating caps at 130 via modding. If that’s the case, I’d hope you either can’t advance any further or that you can level up a specialization without increasing SR-rating. Otherwise, you would be prevented from going through all 8 specializations once they are released.

are you doing your math’s? 50 + 80 = 130
I think how its going to work is that once you reach SR-50 you need to enlist in a specialization to keep ranking, then when most people are almost done with that 343 will release the rest of the specializations until SR-130. BUT then when people somehow finish that, 343 will finish the ranks until SR-200 so specializations are like a midpoint thing. The reason i think this is because SR-50 seems to easy to get to, im already SR-29.

Specializations are available at 50. 2 specializations are currently available. Each specialization has 10 levels.
50+(2*10)=70.
The specialisations are supposed to be available for the LE owners on “launch day” - it says so on the packaging.
Even the most hardcore couldn’t hit SR50 in one day.
but my le specialisations keep coming and going on my screen one day there there next gone and all the skins gone.
haha i 'm sr-75 at the moment. its good that i have the limited edition otherwise i would stuck at 70

i might have misunderstood you’r post, so what i understand is that you are thinking we won’t be able to level up all the 8 specializations without being capped at 130 first?
Guys this is really not that hard to understand.
Before you can pick a Spec you have to be SR-50
Once you hit SR-50 you pick a Spec.
You are then LOCKED into that Spec for the next 10 levels (equivalent of SR-40 to 50).
Once you complete that Spec you can pick a new Spec but will be locked again for the next 10 levels.
You CANNOT level past SR-50 without picking a Spec.
Once you level up all Specs you will be SR-130. SR-50 + (8 Specs X 10 levels) = SR-130
Even though nobody can reach SR-50 in a day they’re just implying that as soon as you reach SR-50 you can start specs

This needs to be addressed right away. Are we going to be stuck after we finish the two available specializations or are the rest unlocked after completion?

I meant that either spec level and SR level are independent of each other, or that you pick a spec at 50. You can’t go above 50 without picking a spec. You do this again at 60, and can’t go past 70 without picking yet another spec. Rinse and repeat until level 130.
Late adopters are likely going to be stuck at SR-70 for a while, as early adopters are going to get access to all 8 specializations about the time they are all hitting SR-70. I think that’s rather lame, but it looks like that’s the way things are shaping up.
I get it. I just wish they wouldn’t have marketed the specs available strait out of the box.
I don’t get why anyone who is hardcore enough to be 70 already didn’t spring for the LE. If you’re going this big you’re obviously going to buy all the map packs and those come free with the LE as well.
I’m almost SR56 and don’t wanna breeze through SR60 due to the fact that I wont be able to get anymore XP until the 20th – it’s easy for me to get to 70 within the next 4 days, such a waste. If you unlock a spec, and get all 10 levels, the next one should unlock automatically.
Just so you all know the people getting the codes for the whole ‘play early before the 20th’ deal don’t get the codes till the 30th.
