Just two things that irritate me a little. I realize it’s irrelevant to most of you, but… as George Bush, Jr., was oft to say: “Why the hell not.”
The first: The Limited Edition is supposed to come with an armor skin and a skin for the MA5D. However, I have no idea what they look like, and as far as I know, there are no images released of these skins. Is 343 Industries deliberately keeping these secret, or have they just not bothered to post pictures yet? Or is there something else?
The second: there are various preorder-exclusive skins available, but we only see them in concept art. Personally, I think being able to see the armor w/ skin in a screenshot would be better than what they’re doing now. Showing an in-game screenshot of the skin, and some good armor to go with it, would likely encourage preordering more than the current previews; seeing a sketch of Niagra Falls isn’t the same as a postcard.
I think you’re reading into it too much. There have to be SOME surprises when we actually get the game in our consoles. Besides, they’ve been busy revealing much more important things than pre-order bonuses and weapon skins. People don’t care about those as much as things that actually affect how the game plays.

Wait, I thought we were just getting an armor skin. Although, if we’re getting an armor set, too, it’ll likely be Mark VII armor, of the Chief’s upgraded Mark VI.

Like I said, I know a lot of people don’t consider them important. But that doesn’t mean nobody cares about them.

No, the Limited Edition comes with an armor skin, and an Assault Rifle skin.
I hope it’s something more exciting than Chief’s armor. If it is, I probably won’t be using it. The pre-order skins are so different and exciting, I’m really hoping for something better than Mark VII since that should be in the game anyways.
