Today at gamestop the guy told me the map pass you get with the Limited edition actually gives you all the maps on day 1 release day. And the seperate on you have to wait for the maps to come out. Anyone else herd this?

That guy should not be working in gamestop.
I am not so sure, but I really doubt, but I can’t say for sure. More or else it is likely a no.

The map packs are NOT day 1 download. You’re basically buying a season pass for the first 3 map packs and will get to download them when they are released down the line.
The thing is, that the maps WILL be released on a future, separately, what you buying it’s like a DLC pack, with contains 3 map packs= 9 maps.
It won’t be 1 day maps DLC.

No the LE probably comes with a insert that has a code on it, that code gives you access to the map packs when they come out in the future.
The map packs were never day 1.
I’m not surprised though . .
