Hi everyone I was wondering if someone could help me out. I’m thinking of preordering the Limited Edition of Halo 4 from Gamestop. However, on the website it says it’s $99 instead of the typical $60 so I want to know if it’s worth the extra $30. What comes with the limited edition that isn’t available with the regular edition?
A few armor permutations, map pack access, and a few extra goodies I can’t remember off the top of my head.
A couple armor permutations, an exclusive skin for your Spartan, a weapon skin for the BR (if you live in Canada), three map pack codes, a briefing packet for the Infinity, and I think something like a code to watch Forward Unto Dawn, the live action Halo series premiering later this year, from Waypoint or something.
Taken from BS Angel herself:
> The Halo 4 Limited Edition will be available at the estimated retail price of $99.99 and includes:

Yes, you read that correctly; you get nine maps in the form of future DLC with the purchase of the Halo 4 Limited Edition. Score!

We’ll be releasing more information about Specializations at E3, so expect additional details about this particular feature then.

Okay thank you everyone.
> Three map pack codes?! Will these maps ever be available for the regular edition?
Yes eventually they will be. But let’s say that you purchase all 3 DLCs. That’s at least $30 right there. Assuming the DLCs stay at the price of $10 each)
They will be released later on the Xbox Live Marketplace and you will then purchase them separately if you get the Regular Edition.
With Limited Edition, it’s all paid for so it’s money free when they’re released.
The ability to unlock a few things instantly, 3 map packs (3 maps each), director’s cut of FuD (streamed on Waypoint), some avatar stuff, Halo 4, a special AR skin, and a special armour skin.
