Wha? I thought the Recruit armour was meant to be the default for everyone?
Pretty disappointed if this is true, just wish what was and what wasn’t in the LE was actually locked down!

You’re right! 343i said it would be available to everybody.
Except MS thinks other wise.
Even though to begin with everybody thought the recruit armor was exclusive …
…First it was said the armour was LE only.
Then it was said that LE owners only get the Recruit Prime Skin.
Now its back to being the armour for LE only?
While I am happy that I will be getting an exclusive armour for owning the LE I must say… there has been WAY to much back and forth about these so called exclusives.
It’s just the wording used by different places. 343 haven’t been clear enough to retailers what is included. Regardless of what different places are saying:
LE gets the Recruit Prime armour skin.
Everybody gets Recruit and Warrior armour (plus maybe some others) by default.

I agree. Though this makes me happy … it’s just wrong.

No, there isn’t any wording problem.
It clearly states : Armor IV- Recruit armor
Than below that: Armor IV- Prime SKIN
See, THIS is the problem with making specific pre-order bonuses for individual retailers. This is the pre-order mentality gone berserk. Nobody can f—ing make sense of all of them. Nobody seems to be able to keep track, and now people are going to get screwed out of content they thought they were paying for.

I know what the wording on there states, I’ve read it.
HMV UK originally said they were doing exclusive Locus Armour, when it turns out it’s just the helmet skin. Game also said exclusive Oceanic Armour instead of Armour Skin.
Microsoft have the wording wrong, it’s been confirmed we all start with Recruit. Why else would they call it Recruit unless we all started with it?
On another note, I would like some limited LE armour to make up for this specialisation rubbish us LE pre-orderers have had.
> New SPARTAN-IV recruits are issued the following gear:
>
>
> • Assault Rifle
> • Magnum
> • Frag Grenade
> • Recruit Armor, Emblem, Visor and Stance
They didn’t update it or didn’t want to. You get the skin, not armor. Again, they didn’t change it…nothing to get worked up about…
My god, we’ve been through enough. Truth: The skin not Recruit actual armor. Let it go plz and stop crying. We originally thought we were getting the armor, but it has long since been cleared up in an older Bulletin.
> They didn’t update it or didn’t want to. You get the skin, not armor. Again, they didn’t change it…nothing to get worked up about…
With all of the do-overs Microsoft has been pulling on what’s exclusive and what’s not, how can you be so sure. In fact, no one can be too sure on what’s exclusive anymore.
> > Maybe this is a sneaky ploy to get all of the people who are canceling their LE pre-orders to reconsider?
>
> If that is the case, that is very underhanded.
The specializations fiasco has proven that they’re not above such dirty tactics.
This game is sounding more and more like something you’d get someone for Cranksgiving.
