So people on Aus just got confirmation from EBGames that their LCE will arrive on Oct 27th and will include a complimentary standard edition of the game to download alongside the code in the LCE (Because the Fall of Reach and Warzone REQ bundle are tied to this.)
Seeing this I am a little bit worried as I am in NZ and I was really looking forward to getting the game on Oct 20th (Which was shown on EBgames.co.nz when I pre-ordered, however the date has now Changed to Oct 27th) I don’t need nor want a disc for Halo 5 as the main draw of the LCE was the fact that I got all the special edition stuff and a digital code so I could game share and play Halo 5 with my brother. I hope that we can forgo the the disc and instead get the the LCE on October 20th, like pretty much everywhere else in the world.
Im pretty sute you get a disc and a code! Same in AU so you have code for playing and disc as a give or a collectors item this Halo 5 Limited COLLECTORS edition after all!
You cant play game untill the 27th anyway. My only worry if it is coming to NZ (abd I hope it is) is if the standard edition is sealed or not! Which it probably will be cause theuve probably made a special batch of standard editions for LCE!

I believe it s the Standard edition (disc and case NiB) that they give you when you pick up Halo 5.
However, the appeal of getting the LCE a week early was being able to download it and be able to play on launch night, while still getting access to all the cool limited edition stuff.

No I meant they have an extra batch of Halo 5 standard edition otgerwise theyll have to pull them of shelf and Halo 5 releases at 8am i believe!
As a person who works for EB games I can confirm to you that the LCE is now launching on the 27th of October instead of the 20th in AUS/NZ
This has been done so that we can give you a physical disc when you pick up the LCE
When you go to EB games and pick up your LCE the employee will also “sell” you a standard copy of the game, don’t worry because our system will auto-discount so that the standard edition becomes free
You are essentially getting an extra copy of H5 because you will still also get the digital download that comes with the LCE
The LCE launches on the 27th of October in both AUS and NZ
You will not be able tyo get it on the 20th
The console still launches on the 20th, however there is no disc transfer deal for the console
