This hasn’t happened since CE, it’s crazy it’s been that long. Halo Infinite is officially releasing next year and will be the launch title for the next generation of Xbox consoles. So amazing that this is happening. Gives me more of an excuse to get Scarlett next year.
Many of us have been thinking it would launch the new console, and we’ve stated as much many times in here, I’m not surprised at all tbh.

What about halo 3? Wasn’t that the official launch of the 360?

Nah, the 360 launched in 2005 and Halo 3 released in 2007.

Huh for some reason I thought it came out in 07, my bad.
Guess I know what I’m buying…hopefully means I can play my xbox originals/360 and X1 games on the new console with Halo Infinite…possibly limited edition console?

No. Perfect Dark Zero and PGR along with Kameo and a few others launched the 360. Halo 3 was much later.
Scarlett looks promising. I’m reallt skeptical on things like the price and TV requirements what with their talks of 4k, 8k, and 120 FPS, but I’ll keep my ears piqued.

Yes, they confirmed last year it will also be available on Xbox One. I’m expecting Xbox Scarlett to cost probably $500.

That’s what my X-One cost me. So a super upgraded console with all the bells and whistles will be the same?
They don’t even make an 8k TV yet.
I’m not surprised, but it’s a good call.

It could. Technology is advancing rapidly in today’s growing ecosystem. What was done 5 years ago in cost only costs a fraction of that now. $500 is a little low for Scarlett in my eyes but by holiday next year there’s a good chance I’ll be close to that price point or slightly more. The 1X? I’d imagine it being down to 300 by that point.

No but that doesn’t mean I’m ready for next gen either. Unless they offer something substantiality better than graphics upgrades I’ll stick with my Xbox one for a few more years.
