Agreed. Great for customs. But for actual matches? Chiron was terrible.
A map released over twenty years ago with no online play vs. a map released in 2021. Hmmm
You can play Chiron TL-34 online. Just hop onto MCC and find out the annoyances of the map. Outside of Free-For-All and Customs, the map was chaotic and uncoordinated.
You CAN play it online retroactively. But that map was designed in an era where online console play wasn’t a thing for the Xbox and infact regulations and peer reviewing and testing maps and modes was nearly a laughable concept. 343 has a team of people who have been testing and playing these maps for roughly 3 years. The multiplayer in Halo CE was made by two guys within the span of like a month nearly a few months before the game launched as a last minute decision.

The fact that it is also a single-curve asymmetric map is also quite annoying.
