For all of these people getting the game early that are already in their SR-40+ ranks, should everyone be reset to SR-1 on launch day?
This would prevent people who had received the game early from already having Support and Tactical packages on their load outs and killing all of the people who literally just put the disk in.
Edit: I’m not jealous of these people, I just consider it to be fair on launch day to do this in order to avoid slaughter.

The main reason that they shouldn’t reset the rank is that if they do, lots of people will lose their double XP tokens - if they reset the double XP tokens as well, then fair enough. But it wouldn’t be fair to take away their double XP tokens and reset their rank as well.
I really think 343i should reset on launch day, just because a SR-50+ will really have a advantage over most of the people playing for the first few weeks.

Maybe they should do another reset just after Christmas because after all, lots of people won’t get the game until Christmas.

There is hardly any advantage to having a high rank. After a few games, you’ve unlocked enough Spartan points to get a loadout that you’ll use forever anyway.

No advantage? How about Armor Abilities, Support Upgrades, and Tactical Packages before everyone else?

Once the tokens are applied to a Gamertag, you can’t chose when you use them. So if you were lucky enough to get the game early, and you played the game early (who wouldn’t), you have no choice but to use your double XP tokens.

Press receive their copy early… many average people though order online and it gets shipped early.
I hope it’s they get reset, but I don’t mean it in a mean way.

Agree. We don’t need people running around with all of the Packages on their load outs destroying people on the first day.
