I am getting quite irritated with the frequency that I get Boltshotted or assassinated by someone in Camo that does not show up on my radar. I use Camo every single match almost and I’ve never even had it happen to me one time. Must be intentional, so I encourage everyone to report those that you see doing it as a cheater through xbl
I don’t think there is a camp glitch. It’s just the fact that an invisible guy shows up as neutral light blue dots on the radar and that sometimes throws you off.
You do know the “radar” is actually a “motion detector”- as in, anyone who is standing still (or possibly crouch-walking) won’t show up.
You know that, right?
I’ve never heard of this camo glitch, never seen it in my hundreds of games played.

The problem is getting alot worse, seems more people are doing it.
For the people who dont know what it is, it lets you turn invis without the tell-tale blue dots on radar.
Guys, the glitch is that the person has camo activated yet the crazy blue dots don’t show up on the radar. You may not of seen it, CrimsonLegend, but I have seen it many times.
Sometimes they are crouching while using camo, sometimes they are walking, but still the blue dots don’t show up. I don’t believe it’s an intentional glitch by the players but something that just slips up every now and then; and needs patching.
Sometimes it is noticeable on the motion tracker, that is that the plethora blue dots don’t shoe up but the player shows up as one light blue dot that also switches to red eery now and again. But the highlighted affect is the absence of the other blue dots.

Radar= A Device that sends out a pulsating wave of pure energy the bounces off objects to reveal there location. Whether their Moving Or In Place. In other words… It shows friendly/Enemy’s locations at all times regardless if there standing still or moving.
Motion Detector= A Device that captures the smallest changes in air/water/ground. Whether its Temperature, Vibration, or Physical changes. But the person/Vehicle/Object in question must be moving to be detected.
I’ve seen it too. The player is cloaked but there is no blue dots on the radar when you are near him. I have experienced on several occasions where the player attempts to cloak crouch hide to evade me or ambush me.
One time recently on a DLC map, with the mantis, I was looking for a guy in the rocks because I saw him move there, but there was no blue dot. He would have been in clear sight if he wasn’t invisible because he was on the posterior side of that rock formation. I stayed away from the rocks blasting it with rockets thinking I couldn’t see him becuase he jumped and hid in the middle of the rock formation while I aproached the rocks. I made another aproach to the rocks and stomped at it starting with his last known spot, and his blue dead body flew right out of where I last saw him. He was at the same spot cloaked.
There was another cloaker in Haven where he would hide in a corner in the quarter circle paths on the lower floor. He saw me, hid there with a boltshot ready, but when I threw all 7 of my grenades (3 frags, 2 plasma, 2 pulse) at and above that spot and jump the over the block he was hiding behind. He was cloaked, and I NEVER saw a blue dot on him untill he had to move while I was in the motion of finishing him off.
On that same DLC map in the same match from the earlier paragraph, I was still in the mantis and someone else tried to hide from me in the rocks. This time he stood still, but he emited the blue dots like it was supposed to, and his dead blue body flew from the rocks as I rocketed it.
Another person on Adrift camped in the corner in the path that has the stairs directly to the bottom floor. I can’t forget that highlight of the match, where he stood there with a shotgun, could be a boltshot I forgot, and he was cloaked and he shot 3 of us as we pasted through it. I saw the blue dots too late, but it wasn’t that he killed me that got me mad, cause I came back and killed him from a different entry point, I got mad because right before I ambushed the camper, my 2 idiot teammates came waltzing back into the same hall, the same way, and got shotguned the exact same way as if they didn’t remember what happened to them the first time, let alone that the camper wasn’t dealt with.
There was one guy in BTB slayer on ragnorok who was pretty much a -Yoink- who did not learn to shut up, pay attention or even deal with anything right as if he thought everything went his way. He went into that pass between that huge rock and cliff that leads to the metal wall while I was there trying to kill a cloak camper and his buddy at the other end. He and his buddy or whoever went with him ran in, got ambushes by them both and cry out noobs with cloaks before I raged at him and his noob buddy for going in there, telling him I knew he was there, even saw him and his blue dots on my motion sensor and there was a GOOD reason why I was chugging grenades into the spot. The one thing I raged more about that incedent was that at least one of them was wounded by my grenades shortly before the 2 went in there, and they failed to kill at least one of them. I didn’t hear much more complaining from him after that.
There was one person on Exile in domion at C base who in on the ramp leading to the roof with the turret. He was sitting in the corner using it as cover to grenade and finish me with the BR. Why he used the camo was puzzling, but he did not move, and I did not see any blue or red dot on my motion sensor while I was looking right at the camo guy.
The inconsistency is a dead give away that it is a glitch, and a very exploitable one too, just like the adrift map glitch that I don’t know has been fixed. (dealt with it once and they were the most pitiful losers I have ever have to deal with since Halo 2 because they cheated and they still lost). I sure hope it gets fixed.
Is there any video for proof? Becouse I never seen any camo player not showing on the radar. If they are not showed, means they are not using the camo, they are just crouched. I usually act like this: if I’m behind a corner or anyway covered by an object, I crouch without getting invisible to not show my position. When the enemy is really close, I activate it and move out from the cover, attacking. It could seem like a glitch for who gets killed, but instead it’s only a tactic…
its actually doable.i know one way that involves black screen(which happen all the time in BTB),but i find few players doing it without any network manipulation

It has happened to me, few times, too.
It usually happens when someone disconnects from the game while i have active camo switched on. When someone connects to the game and it starts again, the blue dots don’t show up when the camo is switched on again. I’ve been assasinated by poeple with this glitch few times myself, too.
This glitch has been discussed here few times, but i’ve never heard about possibility of making that intentional.
If you are in Camo, crouching does NOT remove all the blue dots.
Which is the problem here. I recently played a game where this noob was sitting in a corner, using this glitch somehow, in camo, and no blue dots. I managed to glean that he was there, but I couldn’t see him exactly. Still ended up dying from his boltshot.
Happens to me also. Camo users without the blue dots probably make me rage the hardest. I swear I’ll end up snapping my disk in half over these kind of glitches.

Or if none of the blue dots show up at all. Then you don’t even know they are cloaked until they start shooting you or you see them cloaked just chilling there
