Latest Plot Theory

With Arbiter, Agent Locke, and Master Chief all playing significant roles in Halo 5, I put that together with the name and came up with the Super-Friends theory.

As the subtitle ‘Guardians’ implies, and following the events of Halo 4, I theorize that Halo 5 will be about the formation of a group that the Forerunners have seeded, to protect the galaxy from various threats.

  • Master Chief
  • Arbiter
  • Locke
  • Palmer

(Yes, yes. We all dislike Palmer. Hopefully we see her come to her senses and start being a real Spartan in H5)

I like this idea…so long as we can throw in a wise-cracking wombat.

Seems pretty cool…

Palmer will die, Locke will become Rogue, Chief will get Cortana or M.Bias either one is fine and Arbiter becomes a Golden Lotus Super Commander

Will have to wait and see but your theory seems accurate.

I never disliked Plamer and she has really developed as a character in the latest halo media

I have all my escalation issues sitting in a pile, and I’ve yet to read past 3. Not for any particular reason other than laziness though

I love this theory! I’m going to amend it to what I think might be different/added, though.

Instead of Palmer, who seems to focused on the mission, and not enough on doing good (unlike the other characters), I’d suggest Lasky. He seems more more hearted of a person who’s shown he’s willing to disobey orders to do what he feels is right.

Also, you might need/want a good mentor/science/tech character on your “super team”. If Cortana ever does come back, then obviously she’d fit the bill. If not (or until then), Mendicant Bias might do well in the spot. A wildcard for this position would be Dr. Halsey, depending on what her final motivations and loyalties are (they’ve led us to believe she’s gone coo-coo-villainous).

You could always have Blue Team also be within the ranks, as well as any Spartan IV’s, ODSTs, or Sangheili that wanted to follow Chief/Lasky/Arbiter/Locke.

Lastly, every group of heroes needs an HQ. With Lasky being the captain of the Infinity, if he did go AWOL from the UNSC to join the Spartan Friends, wouldn’t he bring the Infinity with him (with the Hurogoks in tow as well)?

I can understand the Chief, Arbiter, Locke since there interesting characters but Sarah Palmer is the only character in the Halo series that I’m actually ok with being killed off, I miss interesting strong female roles like Cortana or Miranda Keyes. I’d rather see Linda work in the group.

No offense, but I don’t like the idea at all. More than a bit cliche.

You should get around to reading them. I liked them, even though they got som issues (no pun intended)
