By this time we’ve always had news on the next Halo game. They’ve kept Halo 6 hidden for unknown reasons. I’ve been enjoying Halo 5 for over 2 years now, and I’m kinda getting bored. I’m just doing what we’ve been doing with Marvel about the Infinity War trailer since Comic-Con. I don’t really see the issue here.

There’s not really an issue, I just don’t think two years is that long of a time. To me, that seems short. You are free to pester 343 if you want, but I don’t understand how people are getting bored so quickly. Also, is it true that they’ve kept Halo 6 hidden for unknown reasons? Maybe they just don’t have anything to hide, yet. Anyway, I like the content updates and they never seemed like filler to me. But that’s just me

As much as I’d like a Halo 6 teaser, I don’t think Nov 30 2017 is the right time to do it lol
I do agree though that a lot of these community updates are pretty weak. Maybe as the game gets older they should consider going to a every other week update or something. I always look forward to the weekly updates but they’re just not cutting it anymore. The weekly matchmaking threads are becoming a lot more interesting I think. I liked them before, don’t get me wrong but now compared to the weekly update, they’re really good.
Pestering them to release something they’re not ready to yet isn’t really going to do much. Once they’re ready to reveal details about the next major title they’ll let us know, it’s highly unlikely we’ll get a reveal outside of a major event

There is Halo 6 news.
Will have split screen - Chance of Flood appearance: VERY high - Tom French: New head of the matchmaking team - Brian Reed: No longer lead writer. Unknown if he even works at 343 anymore. Replaced by the writer of the Batman games, can’t remember his name - Jeremy Cook: New art director - Cortana has the logic plague - Master Chief will be the main focus, no new playable characters. - Wont be released for a while If you want a trailer, wait till E3 in 6-7 months.
These community updates are not even “updates on the game or future titles” … they’re more like advertising articles. They want to advertise HCS, Youtube Videos, Staff, Donation Drives … do that somewhere else, or make it its own article … don’t bundle it up in a so called “update.” You’re not updating anything to the game, nor are you talking about future changes that will have impact for the most part.
I think that 343i must be banging their heads hard right now trying to figure out in which direction they’re trying to take Halo 6. Halo 6 will probably become a bomb in terms of story and multiplayer again … you think they learned anything after 6 years? They still haven’t learned to become more transparent, a thing we asked for again after the release of MCC even … yet 3 years later we get a letter from Frank now telling us about its problems … which are still existent and not even patched.
Give us a picture, a video, a trailer of Halo 6 … by now you should have learned to keep the loyal fan base out of a blind spot … but shield be giving them information about the future title and its changes or lack of. Bungie did a better job with Halo 2 … 13+ years ago dude … 13+ years ago …

Amen. If anything, 343 should take as much time as it needs to make Halo 6 as good as possible.

No, they’re not updating anything about the game or future changes, they’re updating things about the community. That’s why they’re called “community updates”. Things like charity livestreams are very much a part of Halo community stuff.
And then you start ranting about Halo 6, even though that doesn’t have anything to do with this? I get it, you don’t like 343, but maybe you’re expecting too much from “community updates”. If they don’t have Halo 6 information, they don’t have Halo 6 information. Why would they hide it if they did have it?

The longer halo 6 takes the better. I would love a new halo but I want the next game to have a decent campaign a more aesthetically halo look new maps , be complete and launch and not be a heavy aim buggy glitchy mess so the longer it takes to come correct , that’s fine with me . Good to be hyped but let’s give 343 the time they need so we actually get a decent game.
