Last spartan standing

We’ve all seen this happen. Someone’s teammates quit out on them, and they are the last spartan on their respective team. I bring this up because of a person on the enemy team I just played. A diamond player by the name of Craig who wanted to rank up and get that onyx. But when he needed his teammates the most they quit on him. And he was the last one left against capable players. And went 13 and 27. He did not quit out. He played the game. Not many, sometimes including myself, would accept that challenge, but he did it. So I propose something to help people like Craig finish their game with a chance.

Think of how the last spartan standing can take 2 sword strikes before death. That aspect should apply to those who are the only spartan left. In my mind, maybe a weaker over shield with br starts. Something to help them out and make the game more interesting. I’m no game Dev, but something should be done for these poor players. I’m not good with conclusions so

A scaling thing would be nice too, when one team member quits you get a bit of over shield say but not lots, if you’re two down then you get more, if you’re alone you get enough that you have a chance. Maybe something like a speed boost effect in SWAT where shields of any kind would ruin the point of the game

Thanks. I may have overlooked swat in this lol. But yeah Speed Boost for swat in this position sounds great :]

Haha, not to worry, I just play loads of swat and not lots of anything else other than infection ^ ^ would probably need more thought overall but something would be a good addition, winning is great and all but 4v1 is cruel

This isn’t a good idea. Giving someone a free over shield isn’t smart. Either way, if you are last man, quit. You aren’t being “honorable” or whatever people think, all you are doing is wasting every ones time, including your own.

A. Banhammer is strong
B. I never said a full overshield, just stronger shields to give a better chance.
C. Its not about being honorable, this isn’t feudal Japan. If I’m going 1v4, and Ive dealt with enough bs that day I’m gonna finish that game out.

I have always had the idea of a Forfeit option. At any time everyone has the option to Concede or allow concede. No one likes a game of 4 on 1 whether your part of the 4 or your the 1. If EVERYONE in the game chooses to accept then the game is over. No quitting banhammer, RP still awarded and move on to the next game.

Oh hey let me just grab 3 of my friends we can all forfeit troll others by leaving immediately wasting their time and still get rp out of it

I’ve had a slayer game go down to a 1 v 1 game. That’s a ridiculous situation to be in where 6 people quit a game.
I’m for bigger penalties given out like a big req point deduction and rp decrease as well as longer bans for people who keep doing it

Before we start talking about harsher ban penalties, let’s maybe fix the ban tracking system so I don’t get banned after I leave a fireteam lobby. Not a matchmaking lobby. A fireteam one.

The only reasonable thing I see in ranked playlist is to MAYBE add JIP if the situation becomes 2v4 and the game still have 8+ mins left in it. Other then that I don’t see anything really happening
