Last spartan standing needs to mark you on the map if you are not moving

Seriously if a person is camping in the corner for 30 seconds or more it should mark them for all to see until they move more then 4 feet.

Tired of watching one person camp in a corner while the other runs around trying to find them, that is 50% of the finals in this game, one camper with full lives and nothing but the starting gear and one guy at max equipment.

I’ve genuinely not lost a single game where I’ve got to the max level. Bulldog and BR is far too lethal for anyone with less than that to survive.

You know what it needs, the dangerzone to instant kill if you touch it and once it starts moving, it’s not going to stop, that’ll make the campers move

Nah because there are times it will spawn you in a corner where you have to move through the zone to get out.

Instakill danger zone is a bad idea in general. If you need to retreat into the danger zone for a split second you shouldn’t die.
edit: instantly

I think it needs to deal a little more damage and close a little faster, but making it instakill might be a bit too much, especially since you can respawn inside the Danger zone towards the end (though perhaps that is an issue in itself.)

Being able to pop inside of it for a second or two to move or get around something is actually helpful for aggressive play.

Or just enable radar to cut down on camping.

Camo needs to go IMO

Radar wouldn’t help with camping though since the campers wouldn’t be moving?

How about always show on radar

Or swap camo for the equipment that highlights players

That actually spawns on the map in the center some times. But yeah It should be default equipment for the mode.

Nah, radar gives you warning of someone running up on you and their direction. Also having no radar incentivizes camping because it makes it so unsafe to move anywhere in a free-for-all setting. It also allows you to trick campers by crouching into their zone while their eyes are radar glued.

Man I get what your saying, but the dangerzone doesn’t force aggressive play, it’s more of an annoyance then anything.

They’re not running if they’re camping. And if they’re close enough to run up on you the radar doesn’t really matter because the range is too short, like we see in other game modes.

It’s unsafe to move anywhere all the time. It’s a competitive shooter. Having no radar just means you have to pay slightly more attention to your surroundings.

You can still crouch up on them. Crouching still almost completely erases the noise from your footsteps so they’re not going to hear you coming. Also if they’re only watching the radar, they’re just a bad player anyway.

It also needs to not spawn people terribly far into the dangerzone if they die… just lost a match because everyone time I made it to the safe zone I was a one shot because the game hs terrible design

This almost isn’t even worth responding to but just in case some people actually think any of these things:
And unless they’re planning on crouching in one position and not attacking you, they’re going to move as soon as they want to attack you or backsmack you. You then see them on your radar, and can look directly to them. This is how it works in every other game mode.
No, in team modes you have a general sense of where enemies are and aren’t based on your team mates locations and callouts, as well as them being able to have your back. In a FFA game mode you have literally no information on enemy locations beyond visual observation, which is why a radar is necessary. No radar encourages camping because it is simply far too unsafe to be running around blind to someone being right next to or behind you.
You’re missing the point that the radar meta that’s part of Halo and mindgaming opponents is gone.

I’ve seen many games that allow the person in 1st place to be revealed to enemy players. I don’t see why we can’t have something similar (maybe once a player reaches a specific level and they have the highest kills) enabled. Or allow that to be a toggle for custom games.

They should make it everyone alive is outlined to you at the 1 min mark & it’ll turn into a 1 Life Sudden Death
