I will admit, that one map is rather open in most of it. The likely hood you’ll get close enough to melee is rather slime unless you fight people frequently in the more closed off sections.
It would have been better if they had kept it at 5-10 tops honesty. That would have been more reasonable at least.

Nah, I looked in to my list of event challenges and 25 melee kills is one of them. They don’t show the final challenge till you clear the rest.
What your challenge says is get melee attacks.
But what it means is get camo, and then get melee attacks
Edit: I’m trying to say this challenge is really easy if you go for melee kills any time you can find a camo

That’s like, the easiest challenge. Unless it only counts if you win the game mode…
I had one for 3 melee attacks from behind. Maybe if you’re lucky to catch someone chasing someone else and they don’t turn around to engage you.

What if I told you I had 7 challenges for back smacks and melee kills? What if I told you I am glad, because it’s super easy? What if I told you roughly 1/3 or more of my kills are melee, and I frequently get Back Smack, Boxer, Ninja, Achilles Spine, and Sneak King medals? Trust me, this map is designed to get melee kills. This is an assassin’s playground. It’s just a shame we don’t have assassinations.

Oh boy do I have a clip for you. I chased a guy for a backsmack with camo for 15 seconds. Just as I pressed melee another player came round the corner and I lunged past the back and into the face of the new guy. Instantly wiped out by both players. Awful, just awful.
I have 25 melee and 10 melee as my final two challenges and while I think it will cost me a bunch of wins I think I’ll do it. I’ve got all week and I’m liking Last Spartan Standing. Using camo and Overshield should make this a breeze.
Yeah, I have five melee kills from BEHIND. Blatantly designed to force us to use those challenge swaps.
I checked my coming challenge, and find I need only 19 melee attack but 40 headshot 
keep the sidekick and go for trades, works every time due to update changes, once people start upgrading just frag out and start again
Melee attacks in LSS were no problem for me and I completed them pretty easily.
Infinite making half of my Challenge being Melee and Backslap Challenges on me this week, both on and off LSS, however, were a gigantic pain in the -Yoink!-. Most of the week I was just in LSS using nothing but my fists.
