This game mode got old real quick.

The leveling up is a cool idea yes, but most the time its a luck based RNG mode.

The map imo just doesn’t work for it.

It feels like a watered-down apex mixed with a watered-down gun game.

I don’t think it is boring, but I do hate FFA with a passion, so you might guess I am really really REALLY “enjoying” completing the challenges for this week.

At the moment, Infinite is not meant for me, a player that prefers PvE over PvP. This season content is great (cosmetic wise), but the gameplay I have to go through… I’m not enjoying it one bit.

I was lookinh forward to the narrative events, thinking it was similar to Spartan Ops, that we would have something akin to a Tutorial 1 (Season 1 tutorial) and a new Tutorial 2 for this Season, to get to “play” the narrative event… couldn’t be more dissapointed by it being just cutscenes. I did enjoy them, but I was expecting more.

And now, to have to play Last Spartan Standing to unlock stuff…lets just say I agree with you on everything except that it is boring, to me it is just will shattering.

I thought the same thing about the narrtive events that would have been much much better. I also hate free for all and the chalanges for it are pretty garbage.

If you want the exclusive rewards, you have to : /

That’s the issue with the Event Pass system - I really like those rewards, I just hate Last Spartan Standing. It’s kind of exciting, but it’s also not super… Fun with the amount of time it takes.

If it wasn’t for the fact that rewards were tied to it, I wouldn’t play it. Once I have the rewards I want, I won’t play it again until another Event makes me play it.

I like Last Spartan Standing (LSS). However, there needs to be some changes to mix things up.:

  • Why are we stuck playing on one map? Love the map but it gets old. Throw in some of the originals so we have a lot more CQC and less camping.

  • Thermo camo and overshield spawn way too much to the point they hurt gameplay. One match two Spartans were running around w/overshield almost as soon as the match started.

  • Danger zone circle needs to close a little bit quicker in order to discourage campers. And keep Spartans on their toes.

I agree with everything you said here. But they said at the outset they were going to start LSS the first week on just the new map so people could play it without the RNG of the other maps getting in the way and the next week it would be added to all BTB maps

I wouldn’t call it boring. I’ve said elsewhere that it’s a decent first step at this type of gameplay, but I think they need to do some iteration on it before it goes into the rotation of gametypes.

That said:

I’m not sure what this means. Literally nothing about the leveling system is random.

Yeah I’m not really feeling the map for this game mode, but I’m actually loving the map itself. Just wish I’d have gotten a single BTB challenge in the hopes of seeing the new map in a more traditional gametype.

It… Doesn’t feel like Apex at all, though. It’s like CSGO’s Arms Race.

The other maps are coming next week.

They show up so much you can easily get your own.

I love being one of the last few people then if I die and have lives left. I spawn in the danger zone and have to hurry up and run out of it in the small circle before I die from it.

This game mode is boring. I feel the same way about all Battle Royale style games. Its is even worse that you you can’t leave the game if you want to get your challenge credits.

We all know Battle Royale will come to this game before long which equals an even longer and more drawn out mode than this one.

TO be at least somewhat constructive the kill zone needs to start sooner to get the game over with quicker.

I wish the game would pair me with players with similar K/D ratios, because I can’t even get 5 kills in a match. Getting all 6 of my lives taken away within a few minutes kills the game mode for me. Yeah I suck, but I wanna play with other people that suck, too.

Not gonna lie…pretty much sit in a corner and wait for final zone…then 3rd party the last 2 players to win lol.

Only playing for the games played challenges hahah. Idc for it honestly. But bc the challenge system forces me to play for extra xp, i do, and thats how i exploit the game.

90% of the game im on my phone waiting for the final zone.
