One of the things I was most proud of was reaching the SPARTAN rank on Waypoint, since the VNEXT Update we’ve seen all kinds of changes and as the world continues to change so does Waypoints forum experience.
Change is scary, change is good. Adapt and overcome is what I really want to say to everyone who sees this sunset in any other way. Step outside and look at the markets, the economical pressure and recent wave of layoffs. This is an effort to consolidate and save costs, it was calculated and the platforms like Discord, Reddit and Twitter are free to use. If you can’t join on Discord, try Reddit if you don’t “feel” heard on Reddit try Twitter and if these platforms don’t work for you there are a handfull of fan sites to rally your ideas behind to better communicate to 343 Industries and the Halo community your feedback.
This is my last saved checkpoint before the deletion date, I’ll probably run back to this from time to time even make a video to release on YouTube or other. I hope my contributions can help others here wether it be my alt forum topic or the ongoing effort to preserve Waypoint’s best threads. Regardless, thanks again to everyone including Ske7ch, Snickerdoodle the Monitors and ‘you’ the fans still here adding threads beyond the announcement of its end.
