So, I’m just wondering if there’s anyone who has the answer to this question. If you were the last man to quit on your team does the penalty system recognize that and excuse your penalty?
It will count against you, but I don’t think you’ll be banned for it. The ban is for consistent quitting, so as long as you stay in all your games, except those games you’re referring to, you should be ok!
I hope so, as I quit a couple of doubles games after a team mate left. Didn’t want to quit but when it’s like 15 to 4 and they have all power weapons it’s not much fun to stick it out alone.

Only the Ban(ana) Hammer doesn’t always give an immediate response to your quit/DNF matches… so when it checks and see’s numerous quits like 11/3/2015 11/5/2015 11/7/2015 sort of thing… it’ll deliver a swift ban.

I don’t think 3 quits in 4 days should get you banned. I think they should try and detect if it’s a genuine quit or a ISP mess up, and there should also be a quit per hour ratio to figure it out.
If you average more than one quit per hour of play, then it should be a suspension.

It was an example… people with records a bit like that example (of course they’d have more DNFs across a larger string of days) generally find themselves banned for a short bit.
I think they should excuse those type of quits, even if it’s completely inconsequential, just on principle I would feel better knowing that the system differentiates that type of quit.
They need a forfeit option that opens to players when half the team quits. It should be a unanimous vote to forfeit the game.

I agree. If my team is losing 20-5 and my whole team quits out I want to just forfeit.
