We all, or most, know that a satellite galaxy is orbiting the Milky Way. This is known as Path Kethona, it has been visited before by Forerunners, twice I believe, and the Precursors, their origin galaxy as far as we know…
Anyway my question is will we visit a significant and memorable location at the closing of the war… like in Halo 3 we visited the Lesser Ark… perhaps we will visit and conclude the Reclamation in Path Kethona, or the Forerunners Capital World?
Where would you want the war to conclude… but anyway Path Kethona or the Capital could spark the return of the Forerunner Exiles, Iso-Didact, Bornstellar Makes Eternal Lasting, and Lifeshaper, Chant To Green, as well as introduce the Precursors and their abomination, the Flood… Heck the Forerunner Exiles could have possibly relocated their Capital to Path Kethona?
That would be a pretty epic conclusion to Master Chief’s story. I think your idea would be a bit better than John waking up on the infinity and everything was a dream
The problem with Path Kenora is got halo’d by Omega Halo, all that’s left is some moss, and some derelict eroded forerunner ships. We’d either need some explanation how something survived, or for the precursors to rebuild there, which they didn’t seem to be doing even in Silentium.
Forerunner capitol gives me too many Citadel vibes for me not to fear an ME3 ending.
I don’t think he ever said that you did. I’m pretty sure he meant it hypothetically. Anyway, IsoDidact and Bornstellar are the same thing, aren’t they? You’ve listed them as separate people in the OP.

I actually wrote it as Forerunner Title (Iso-Didact), Name (Bornstellar)… I didn’t list him twice…
And a citadel ending is yeah always gonna be bad… but this is Halo and not Mass Effect… We most likely want a fantasic, memorable ending to the Master Chief Saga…

The primitive Forerunner society there is dead by the Halo ring. But the Forerunner Ecumene survivors, such as Bornstellar, could quite easily have traveled there in their exile.
I’m pretty sure everything in that place was killed or destroyed during the Halo firing. If the Forerunners did survive there though I don’t see why not.
The Greater Ark got smashed along with the last of the Forerunners (save a select few) when Star Roads surrounded and plowed through it.
The Capital would be an amazing scene, but it seems that there would just be a lot of destruction and debris there right now…
But still… it’s a Halo graveyard. There are like 10 or so Halos either sitting there dormant or in pieces, plus the wreckage from the enormous Fortress Class Ships trying to defend the Capital.

The imagination runs wild… the possibilities of Saber or Broadsword dogfights… jet-packing through the rubble on a treasure hunt… not to mention the storyline possibilities. This is my vote so far.
I can see a picture of Master Chief on an Installation… Then another of it blowing up and him and the Arbiter high-fiving with a bunch of explosions behind them.
