I just loaded up a match of Legendary Warzone Firefight on Temple. Round 1’s objective was to eliminate 100 Promethean Crawlers. We got to the last few so the last remaining targets got a red highlight showing us where they were. So all is normal until all the painted targets were gone. It had 99/100 crawlers killed in the objectives. Seemingly the last little guy never spawned. So after a few players running around searching aimlessly, the game ended due to the timer running out haha. I’m not really asking for my issue to be “fixed” (all I lost out on was a blue RP boost and about 5 minutes of my time) but I could see this issue being more annoying the final round or so.
I’ve bookmarked the game film (Gamertag is “Lxthul4619”) if anyone is curious.
Have a good one! o/
To clarify something, you don’t lose your boost. Boosts don’t vary in amount unless they’re Gambit ones (even for those, not sure how much the variation is). If it was a Mission: Victory boost, you’ll have it back in your inventory after a match or two or if you restart the game. If it was a regular RP boost, then you’ll have the same amount applied to your RP bank regardless of whether or not you won the match.
More to the point though, I feel the frustration haha. It’s happened a number of times and is supposedly caused by killing the available enemies too quickly. It’s sort of like a compliment, but delivered in an inconvenient way. I guess an upside is it gets you a new map?
Hate when that happens.
Had the opposite problem yesterday - one of the Mythic Hunters spawned on the roof of the garage (on … A.R.C.) and couldn’t be reached.
Quite often at least one of them spawns in mid air to one side of the back of the garage … sigh.
