Why are these not achievements I can’t tell you how many hours I spent going for these challenges in reach all I got was credits I even did it once in halo 4 they shoulD make more difficult achievements like this instead of easy 1s like changing your Spartans pose
LASO is something 99% of players would never even think of attempting.
I don’t think it should be an Achievement, but players should be rewarded with amazing items in-game.
Some incredible-looking armor, a sick emblem, and awesome skins.

It should yield more than the simple symbol, the credits were nice to think of, but don’t do much especially if you were already a SR130 like I was. I loved doing LASO and the challenge all in all, but give us more to show off with, even in game.
I think it should be an achievement, I could care less about some special armour and such for beating LASO, I don’t care for multiplayer where it’d be shown off the most
Bungie did it with that vid master even though they didn’t give u any gamers score I feel if u wanna make the game especially campaign more difficult make laso’s achievements

i do like my emblem, but instead of an achievement id like armor.

Why shouldn’t it be an achievement? Achievement should be something that the player has to, well, achieve… I’d rather see LASO being an achievement than stupid things like “In matchmaking, effectively camped one location without dying for a full 60 seconds” or “In Bullseye DLC matchmaking, acquired the Rocket Launcher at the start of a match on Pitfall.” Achievements should be hard, and something to be proud of.
Alongside that nice Achievement, players should get a shiny set of armour or something for completing LASO as well, so people who are prideful can show off their achievement.
It would be nice to have a bit more than an emblem, hah.
I love attempting LASO on campaigns but the 2% of population of Halo franchise DOES NOT ATTEMPT OR SUCCEED WITH LASO.
A achievement is something that can be achieved by all or most players… especially when people try to go for the 100% all halo game achievements earned on way point. So making LASO for the 2% of campaign exceptional players is rather pointless although making in-game merit besides experience is agreed upon; perhaps a Mark IV GEN2 Variant that has LASO on the breastplate and the emblem is the recognizable skull that is in Halo 4.
I’d rather have something like armor to show off, instead of an achievement.

Is that so? Here’s a list of Halo 3 achievements :
- On a Mythic map, got a Killtacular during a ranked or social match.
- Scored a Double Kill with a single spartan laser shot in a ranked free for all playlist.
- Killed 4 enemies within 4 seconds of one another in a ranked free for all playlist.
- On a Mythic map, get a Perfection medal during any ranked or social match.
- On a Mythic map, get an Extermination during any ranked or social match.
These are examples of achievements that were actually difficult to get, and not something that just any player could do easily. Those were the days where you weren’t just handed over achievements/prizes/whatever for just anything. Achievements meant something back then, since they were something that needed to be achieved.
I would definitely would like to see these kind of achievements.
But I would feel sad considering I already did a lot of LASO runs in previous Halo games…

Agreed. My emblem doesn’t justify the work it took to get it, with or without Tyrant etc help.
