I see myself as good at halo. I’ve completed halo 1 and 2 on legendary, currently on hold with halo 3 legendary (the friend I’ve been playing with hasn’t been online) and i just haven’t gotten to doing halo 4. Halo ce is fairly easy, halo 2 is pretty damn hard but not impossible. But when i got to laso it was an absolute nightmare. I need an expert, i need help getting through the laso playlists. Any volunteers?
I have completed every Halo FPS on legendary, some multiple times. And a long time ago I deemed LASO (or Mythic) as an impossible task that I will never try to complete ever. Sorry, I’m not interested in trying to get through hell.
But a piece of advice I can offer (that I will never follow) is that everything takes time and I’m sure it might be possible.

How can you go through hell when life is already hell
I did all of them, solo. I refuse to do Halo 2 again, but CE and ODST were pretty easy. If you can’t find someone who will help you directly, look at guides. Don’t watch just one, watch many, play around with individual levels, create a realistic plan, and be patient. There are plenty of other people who have found great tricks; don’t waste your time trying to reinvent the wheel.

Halo completionist or nak3d Eli would be good choices, they both have laso guides.I would try completionist first
Laso was the most rewarding Halo experience I’ve ever had, I’ll say that much. Very difficult, but very rewarding.
Preferrd the laso in og halo 2 and original cea. But they are doable in mcc.
3 4 and odst are pathetically easy by COMPARRISON to ce and 2. I would say in order or ease is odst, 4, 3 ce, 2. So possibly suggest try odst or 4 first, get a hang of them.
My ce and 2 laso playlist kept resetting on me when I did them around launch. So if rather not do them any more.

I second this entire statement. The fact that knights prefer throwing grenades to using their incineration cannons makes them extremely easy to kill. In ODST, I got from Kizingo Boulevard to Data Hive solo in a little under 3 hours. H3 is a bit more difficult, it took me much longer to beat. Barely tried CE since the Iron workaround no longer works. As for H2, It took me a month to beat Cairo Station, then after fairly smooth sailing got stuck on Regret. I gave up at that point and just cheated my way to the achievements.

How exactly did you cheat your way to the achievements?
The only LASO and Legendary < 3 hours I’m worried about is Halo 2

You could share the last level and then just complete it and get the achievement that way. No idea if that still works.
I honestly did that for ce and 2 after they both reset on me 2x each me. >_<

I doubt it works anymore. Before 343 starting fixing MCC after years of nothing, there was this glitch where those who beat a LASO playlist before the ODST update could attempt to start the playlist with another player and the game would bug out, booting both players back to the main menu and instantly granting the other player the achievement for completing that LASO playlist, no effort required.
I found a guy on TrueAchievements who was giving out free LASO achievements and jumped at the chance to not have to play H2 or CE on LASO. I now regret that decision since I have a reward for something I didn’t do, so now I’m thinking about doing them legit, if without the Iron skull so I can at least imitate how I would have done it before 343 started supporting this game again.
H2 under 3 hours is possible, the hardest missions are definitely Gravemind and Regret. Watch guides and beat the other missions as best you can, then add up the times and see how much you got left for the remaining missions. I recommend saving at least a full hour just for Gravemind and Regret. I wish you luck!
This guy is a legend. His guides got me through Halo 3 "S"LASO and helped me be the 38th registered person to do it back in the day in original Halo 3 when it was a big deal. There was no cheating back then. But he has guides for all the games now.

Check out his guides.
If you’re stuck trying to beat CEA, youtuber SilverAxisKiwi made some good tips and tricks to beat that game on LASO. Playing co-op on that one makes it worlds easier to beat than on solo. If you don’t have someone to help you, just use a second controller and make sure that the second player is always in a safe space. For the record, I i initially beat Halo: CEA LASO solo (no second controller) my first time, and it was after they added the Iron Skull to it. I’ve also beaten every LASO playlist in MCC solo a few times each. Yes, even Halo 2 which is still a beast to beat. Don’t ask why I played and finished Halo 2 LASO four freaking times! Anyways, you can easily find guides online from people who’ve already beaten each of them to help you out, that’s what I certainly did.

How many gray hairs did you get? When I did my LASO’s I think I got one somewhere on my head.

I’m sure I got quite a few playing each LASO a couple times each lol. I know it nearly drove me over the edge to beat them all.
I watched Halo Completionist guides on YouTube to help me get through the LASO playlists for 3, ODST, and 4 so far solo. I made it up to Truth and Recon on CE but refrained from continuing after watching the guide for it lol. I’ll probably pick it up again at some point down the road. His videos for Legendary in under 3 hours also helped me tremendously to get through 3, ODST and 4. So I just gotta do LASO and Legendary in under 3 hours for CE and 2, which are also the 2 most difficult games lol. If I had to guess, I would say that Halo 2 Legendary in under 3 hours is probably more difficult than the LASO playlist. But yeah, definitely check out Halo Completionist if you haven’t already. Cheers

3 odst and 4 could be done co op so you dont really need guides for that, but halo 1 and 2 are ridiculous in under 3 hrs, guides or not

Yeah it’s annoying because the par times for both CE and 2 add up to over 3 hours, so just shooting for par time doesn’t work unlike 3, ODST and 4. Regret and Gravemind in under a half hour seems impossible to me lol. Some day though I may give it a shot. We’ll see…

You can make up for it on missions like uprising, outskirts, delta halo, and high charity. You save enough time on those missions which let’s you be a little more cautious with regret and gravemind
