LASO’s are harder. Speedruns while true your on a time limit but you don’t have all the skulls on. Only reason that more people have unlocked LASO’s is they cheated getting them.
LASO is much harder! When it comes to speedrunning, all you got to do is master the glitches you will do in each mission. Yes, this does take time and skill, but still LASO is certainly more difficult because of the unbalance on the legendary difficulty and the skulls. Only somewhat fair legendary game is Combat Evolved. I say somewhat because you still have the Rocket Launcher Flood. But in general the skulls really shake up the game, especially blackeye ( I hate you ) and on top of that the already really challenging Legendary difficulty make LASO much harder than speedrunning.
I think they say that cause they’ve never tried laso on H2

Probably because somebody shared him the LASO achievements. To be honest the only LASO playlist that I did legit was Halo 4, and I can tell: It was hell! I think that for a speed run you must be very good at dodging shots, jumping through levels, and have a 9/10 aiming. LASO requires all that and even more. I’m gonna go for LASO Playlists: H3, ODST, CE and H2A at the end (since it’s the most difficult according to many people in this forum)

ODST is the easiest by far and the shortest. Halo 3 or Halo 4 is debatable. I found Halo 4 harder just because of the new mechanics and enemies since I did them in order by release. Halo CE is harder after the patch damn foreign skull. Halo 2 is the hardest without a doubt do a level a day in my opinion and put on classic graphics.

Sure, although I found easier to kill a knight in Halo 4. LOL elites are the worst in Halo 4. I think that the real trouble are the watchers, they are much more resistant and can revive knights, even while you’re assasinating them
The (LASO) are much more difficult.
LASO is hard and very time consuming. Speed running is easy.
Both are challenging in different ways, but LASO is by far the harder of the two.
LASO is harder. Only the Halo 2 campaign is really hard to get under 3 hours. Therefore you have to get a really good time on the mission gravemind, which is a f***** pain. I did gravemind in 36:53 and it was the most annoying mission.
The other Halos can just be speed-runned by doing coop-legendary, but that doesn’t work in Halo 2 since you cannot respawn your partner but get reset to the last checkpoints when someone dies.
Halo 1,3,3ODST and 4 are playable on LASO (like 2 hours per mission) but Halo 2 is hard as f****!!
Tell me that you got LASO Runs without bugs cause even ODST has 2-3 insanely hard missions if you play how it was meant
