This isnt nearly as daunting as i thought thanks to lack of iron and bandana! Im like 20 minutes into lvl 1, halfway already and gots a comando and rockets. And the dynamo grenades just stun everything! This is oddly really fun!

if you have patience and strategy infinite is definitely the easiest LASO. in what other game can you have 5 marines in a vehicle all armed with rocket launchers lol
I was finding it very frustrating until I realised I was missing every checkpoint because of not having full shields. I beat the first two levels effectively with the Iron skull on lol.
It’s going much smoother now I have realised this fact and I have the Scorpion gun. Assume it will be a fairly straightforward run now.
Just finished LASO an hour ago and can definetly say that there is one point that went from pathetic to pretty intense in the story
What part was that? Im very curious
And yeahbim getting used to the checkpoint system giving me them at such bizzare situations

The part I mean is against the Spartan killer Elite Jega, he was a joke on heroic and legendary (granted legendary with scorpion tank gun) but on LASO he made me jump once or twice whenever he disappears and reappears moments later while being able to insta kill you. Took me a couple tries (and a lot of killing the the hunters in the arena before before I got a checkpoint) before I found a strat against him.
Honestly i was guessing either him or the final boss. Still nothing spoilery as laso is my 3rd playthrough so far. Lol.
Currently going through it myself and got the scorpion gun so should be a breeze.
Just saying it just in case ya know.
The scorpion gun always shot him towards me or didnt face him at all lmao. Had to make him dance wild western style
