I keep hearing it is and isnt patched. is it or not?
There’s currently an FAQ topic about the LASO unlock on the first page of this forum. Have you looked in that?

It should be patched by now, but even if there are still some issues, you should really still aim to complete the challenge as it was intended 
I did find the answer to the question i sought. I posted cus i wanted a simple answer.
