After multiple years of grinding, I had finally completed the Halo 2 LASO Playlist. Now it looks like I got the “progress reset” bug, which doesn’t make any sense to me, because I just finished the great journey, so my progress was reset after I COMPLETED the playlist? looking at my playlist now, it says “LASO CAMPAIGN 4/15 COMPLETE” but if I were to load into it, it would be the heretic, which is the just part of the prolouge. I see other posts from previous years that just say “yup, its broken, no way around it” which is ridiculous. There is really no way to get supported on this issue? I refuse to believe that. This just happened moments ago, so I am currently VERY agitated about it, so apologies to others who have suffered, but this is ridiculous. Anybody got anything? Please… I am desperate.
I’m in the same boat, except my progress is showing “15/15”.
Really frustrating because this was my last LASO campaign to finish.
Please, 343i, fix this.
My LASO playlists will all drop out during coop play for no reason, both parties involved have excellent connections and no lag prior to drop off. Only commonality is it happens at random times past the hour and a half mark. Made it through Halo 4 and ODST since no mission got close to this mark, but Halo CE truth and rec, Halo 2 Gravemind and Halo 3 Ark have all dropped out multiple times at different times. Any answer from a 343 official would be appreciated.
Co-op play on MCC is just overall very buggy unfortunately, so it becomes a real pain when it involves Legendary or LASO playlists.
Sure would be nice to see 343 switch gears and instead of updating multiplayer that no one asks for, fix the gameplay bugs.
I’ve had the same issue halo 2 laso. We’ve hit a wall at metropolis. We’ve literally completed the mission four times and no matter what we do, the game crashes right as we finish the mission and then throws us back to the main menu.
If any mods are reading this, please please fix it as it’s an issue that can’t be resolved on our end.

Glad to see me and my friend arent the only ones, tired of hearing everyone else saying its our internet, funny you can play the same mission in campaign mode no problem, but open it in a playlist and all the sudden you get lag outs and laggy checkpoints. Clearly the issue is in your playlist coding 343. Fix it.

Nah there’s no way it’s your internet. The fact that our game lagged out at the exact same point, four times, is not a coincidence.

Agreed, but anytime my friend and i post on the matter and i provided multiple videos of this bug, the moderators on this site lock the post to stop the discussion of why 343 doesnt care about campaign play and instead focus on stupid multiplayer playlist updates that only 1 person asks for.
